Slayers have been slapping lately. I ran accross one on my rogue yesterday. I L baited out his adrenaline rush, then ambushed him out of stealth and he still folded me, i also outgeared him by a fair bit, very sad times xD
did you happen to notice the resourcefullness you ended up with affecting your CDs? jw since you had a decent amount and were also running 2 skills with cooldowns
Honestly I think rondel buckler got so popular because they went overboard on hitting swords instead of buffing other weapons. What if we just let melee be powerful considering how hard it can be to catch ranged classes?
Arming sword is good on slayer with the short sword IF you are actually going to use both weapons and if your opponent isn't tanky. The speed of attacking with short sword into arming sword is crazy fast. Or since the arming sword has better range it's also a crazy high dps combo of going arming sword > short sword > arming sword. If that is enough to kill your target there's basically nothing better than that burst of damage. It only falls behind if you have to keep attacking after that to finish the kill in a hard engage.

the dev needs to change sword mastery so it adds phys power instead of add weapon damage so it makes the higher damage weapons which are really bad more viable
damage nerf but they reversed it, lorr probably doesnt know about it though. purple arming sword is 36 dmg now. im pretty sure legendary is 38 max so they're still good tbf
I love playing as rouge, but for the love of god there's no way both warlock (pre kris change) and plate fighter and turns out even slayer does stabby stab stab better In fact slayer is what I played starting out in this game, shortsword and kris dagger was my build at the time Idk guys I think we need a new dagger abbility or maybe a hand crossbow perk or well something that rouge does better other than, well I guess access to double jump and like hey poison is kinda cool
honestly i think there should be a perk that encourages dual wielding on rogue as well, maybe dagger mastery should give an extra bonus for having dual daggers? imagine how cool it be if stiletto and rondel had viable combo attacks together as of rn it just feels useless to actually dual wield, i just go double hand crossbow in offhand and throwing knives spam but yeah rogue feels pretty terrible rn with this many warlocks running around, its satisfying when you actually do get a cutthroat ambush off but otherwise 1 cop does half hp
