Broyhill dresser in almost mint condition for $440. I had to drive 140 miles to get it but so worth it. I made a trip out of it and had fun. Also, not a Marketplace find but a lady on Offerup posted an estate sale. Went for a set of mugs, left with a giant piece of art for $150.
Even though asking questions can be beneficial, I've also learned that asking questions can make you lose great stuff. While you are asking a question, if it is something desirable, someone else is telling them they'll take it or paying them a deposit to hold it. I've lost some awesome deals because I spent my time asking questions. Knowledge and confidence in what you are looking at might be more important than anything else.
I’m new to your channel, thanks Paige Wassel! And I just watched this 😊 My best find was 4 burlwood dining room chairs made in the 1830’s-1850’s for $40 total 😳! The chairs would have been sourced from the Black Forest in Germany and they are in such good condition! We re-upholstered them bc the last fabric was done in the 70’s style and found horse hair as the foam underneath!! The best part is I didn’t even really know what they were until later. They retail for minimum $1500 each.
Hi, within the hour of watching this, followed your advice and scored two like new DWR story shelves (with receipts) for 36% of (not off) retail value.
Ethan, Thank you so much for All The Great Tips, I Personally Did Not Know All The Information You Shared About Facebook Market Place While Shopping For Items Of Your Interest. It Scares Me When Shopping Online Like That Because So Many People Want To Scam You Today. Again, Thanks!😊
I love fb marketplace! I sell and buy all the time. Just in case anyone didn’t know, the seller can also rate the buyer so just be aware of that when communicating/scheduling with a seller. ❤
I recently scored a gorgeous 5’x2.5’ original, signed, framed oil painting for $30 on Marketplace. I don’t think I’ll be able to top that for a long time.
Im watching from Italy..good tips you have given.its more difficult here with furniture as we live mainly in apartments , ancient buildings sometomes no elevators...i tend to buy just small pieces of furniture ...well done👍👍
Ethan you are so right. I always ask to bundle other items for a lump sum. Also when I have sold on the platform I want to give a good deal and the ratings are a MUST. Who's normal? Just kidding - great advice

Montreal has a lot of great finds. I live 2 hours from there so it is tempting to make the drive sometimes!
