I bought a 2020 Pursuit and found it much better for me than my previous Lure 11.5. I had been looking at the various accessories to swap in and out based on lake or river, etc. This video has informed me more than any on the Pursuit options. Good job. Now off to order the locking pivot seat add on.
@@LostAngler any idea about those adjustments?..just feels pretty tight spinning by hand definitely an a rubbing sound while turning dont know if that normal but from all videos I’ve seen others sound pretty silent..
Thank you for such rich detail. This is by far the best video I have yet found on this boat. I have almost settled on buying this. If you have time can you answer three questions 1) Does the Mighty Knob on the foot peg get in the way. 2) Can the height of the seat be adjusted and 3) is there a place designed to put a transducer without using that arm hanging over the side. I know there was no place in 2020 for a transducer and I was holding off for the 2021 model hoping one might be included.
Thank you sir, I'm glad that you found it helpful! So I'll answer your questions to the best of my abilities. 1) I didn't find that they got in my way but if you find that they do, the pegs include a low profile mounting option as well. 2) You can adjust the height of the seat with the seat riser kit. 3) And finally there are no recesses built into the hull for a transducer. But there are a ton of ways to mount a transducer without using a side mount. What transducer are you looking to use?
@@LostAngler Thank you for responding. Much appreciated. I don't have a specific transducer in mind yet. 12 years ago I sold my kayaks and trailer. I now have the time to get back into it. I am buying this boat for me and getting 2 outback for my wife and son. I am watching all the Pursuit reviews out there and pretty much settled on it. Thanks
I just ordered a 2021 pursuit , it did come with a ch fusion seat . My question is if I want the 360 lock system , do I have to order 360 swivel adapter and a lock or is one system?? And is the ch fusion height of chair the same height you have in the video ?? Thank you !!
Hi there. I can't seem to find an answer anywhere so let me try here. I transport my kayak in a truck. Do you know if I can fit rods inside that hatch? ( tray needs to be removed of course) I have a Bonafide SS107, and that's a very useful feature for my transporting needs. Thanks!
@@LostAngler Sorry, I meant the hull itself. I currently use the SS107 and like the ability to transport rods inside the hull since I sometimes load this on my roof rack, and it's nice being able to fit rods inside the hull as opposed to the car. Thanks!
So they made the tubes bigger so that they could fit two rods still. This way there was less of a chance of getting water in the hull and to make it a better offshore boat.
I love the reflectors on the bike pedals... for any cars that might be following you on the water? On the bright side, easy to get a cheap pair of pedals designed for bare feet. This video was really well done. I'd feel comfortable buying a NuCanoe and doing these upgrades quickly and easily. I bet you sold a LOT of NuCanoes for them.
@@robbiejohnson3698 ah I gotcha. So what I look at is what you're wanting and what you're willing to give up. So with the Pursuit you gain speed, internal rod tubes, and integrated dry storage. But you lose the completely open deck space, greater stability, and greater ease of rigging for electronics. So it depends on what you value in this equation. I lean pretty hard towards the Pursuit but I haven't paddled the Unlimited yet so I'm hoping it is faster than the F12. If it is I might change kayaks. But maybe not.
Better wear shoes with those footpegs, those knobs sticking up are gonna get in the way after a while. That was not thought out too well. Otherwise good setup.
So they also have a low profile option for the foot pegs. It is more of a machine screw than a peg. So you definitely have options. I wear crocs when paddle so where my foot sets, it doesn't bother me at all.

Awesome I've been debating between the pursuit and the feelfree moken to see which has better tracking and speed but can't decide

What's it doing?

Ive got the cable in after finding one video on it still very hard to push in and even harder to push the pin through
@@TruckinRoundTv call the shop this week and I'll walk you through what to do. Or reach out to pivot drive support
That drive is awesome wow paddle for now are the tracks updated to aluminum on the 2021
They are not but the freedom tracks are pretty epic on their own. I expect to see NuCanoe make that change to all of their boats pretty soon though
Can you put a Bixpy on bottom?
I'm not sure. But there are a TON of options for motor options on that boat
Great video! Any idea how deep that front hatch is? Would like to tuck my battery for my trolling motor in there.
Im not sure that would work but you can use a battery box and put in the fore or aft crate area. But if your using lithium then id say go for it
