  • Dissolved oxygen is required in order for any aquaponics system to be successful. In this video I explain the most important things you need to know about dissolved oxygen, and some equipment I have used (regenerative blower) that work well for me.

A car radiator from eBay with a electric fan would make a nice air cooler to cool down the air after the blower. Great videos and information!

Just a suggestion but if you have any water under pressure being circulated anywhere in your system, you should look into venturi valves. The $800 for your pump versus the $15 for a venturi valve could be a major determining factor for longevity of someone's success. Best of luck either way!!l

Can we have some details on your pump and cooler, models etc?

Unless you have a 3 phase 230 hook up it seems you are using at least 2000 watts just for that blower. If three phase then about 800 watts. Are my calculations correct on this?

Do you had any problems with the PH on water? I just mount the blower system and the ph on water became more alkaline. Y ran my water on 5.5 / 5.8 for hydroponics

that air blower has a high air content per liter but it failed to deliver in my tank 2 meter down to the bottom,,,its usedless! theres no pressure in that machine,,, i dont reccommend it,,,its a waste of money for me!

    • @NewAgrarian

Would like to see how you have it set up

Yes true. I have one also. It has no pressure despite it having high content per litre. Or you might wanna explain more how to set up to give more pressure to the blower.
