- What we eat in a day as a vegan family traveling in Mexico! Thankfully our toddler (3 years old) is a pretty adventurous eater. We traveled from West Virginia to Mexico to stay at a Palmaïa The House of AïA, a vegan resort in Playa del Carmen! It definitely gave us some great plant based meal ideas to make at home!

Tyannna is at a luxury resort children’s center, making bread, bonding with new people and all she says is, “back with daddy, back with daddy!!! She loves people more than things!

Everything looks so delicious! Such a beautiful family! As much fun as Tyanna had with Laura, she was so happy to be back with her first love daddy! I love it! Glad that Rhianna is a nurse because I always laugh to myself that she is going to have to take care of Jon when the first "I want to take your daughter out on a date" knock on the door comes way way down the road!😂❤

You guys are so radiant. You all look like the definition of health. I'm also vegan, was vegetarian for about 22 years and went vegan about 3 years ago. It took me a while to go vegan because of my cheese addiction but one day I just changed my mindset, woke up, made the choice and have stuck by it.

I'm just chuckling to myself because my family HATES me on vacation when it comes to the food because I'm like WAIT! I know you're absolutely starving, but nobody eats until I have the perfect picture of this food we probably won't ever have again! They all groan, but then everyone wants to see the food pics after the vacation because it is a great sense memory that you have that is part of what makes up a great vacation.

You two go on the MOST BEAUTIFUL VACATION SPOT WITH YOUR DAUGHTER and the food always looks AMAZING. I don't drink as well and I tried the Vigin Mojito when my husband and i went to Fl and it was good and minty.

I actually did for 6 months but lack of food choices for vegans are very limited and those we do have are very expensive.
It’s an expensive lifestyle lol .

It’s not expensive if you stick to a plant base diet which contain ,fruit, Vegetable, grain, nuts and seeds. If you have a Alds grocery store in your area it has reasonable price’s. A sample affordable vegan meal is, baked sweet potatoes, black beans with onions and sauté kale.
