Literally one of the most emotional fight scenes. We see Asriel even with hate spitting not deadly laser beams, but his true feelings. Sure Chara continuously gets struck by lightning but it hits me in the feels

The lightning was magic, which determination is very good against, however, you can't compare a direct stab in the torax region with some magic lightning
Oh gosh that's what I was thinking
Watching this scene by itself brought tears to my eyes. It showed how tragic Asriel's story was which was why the hate held on. However, Frisk knew from what he saw with Sans and Papyrus that only someone with a close bond could save Asriel. Chara and Asriel's brotherly bond was what saved the tragic goat boy.
Not rly in 1st tineline chara died beacuse tyere was only 1 locket which means even with chara talking to asrirl it didnt work . There needed to be the second locket to lighten it up for asriel.

This is my favorite fight scene out of all of Glitchtale so far :3
It’s expertly animated, you can really feel the emotions Chara and Asriel (and even Flowey to an extent) are going through, and my _god_ that 3d rotation around Asriel’s attack at 2:17-2:24 is just (forgive the pun) godly!

This moment. This was the exact same place in the failed timeline where everything went wrong. Those were the same words Asriel said as well. I like that Cami kept those same words to show that it is still the same “timeline” but it’s different in which now Asriel is saved. Awesome Cami!

This is one of the best fight scenes emotionally. You can literally see asriel being corrupted by the hate, trying to push it away. It gives me the big sad

Alright, let me just say, Glitchtale is the best Undertale animated AU I've ever seen. Probably the same for most of you. Thank you Camilla Cuevas for this awesome animated series. May it continue bringing joy to whoever watches it. Let it live on for an extremely long time.
Jabbrbox Most Aus (Including this one but that’s a mistake that can’t be fixed) show the monsters (like sans) as more powerful than frisk
but in the game it is said that one human soul is more powerful than all monster souls combined
but this au actually has lore and isn’t just people fighting for no reason
and also it has the personalities of all the characters cuz in megalomaniac you can see sans is still calm in the fight all the way through just like in the game but most animations don’t have that and also sans speaks in lowercase letters which even Underverse doesn’t get right

I think that’s what happened.
But y’see, back in season 1, Chara had Hate. Maybe the Hate just showed up, since Flowey betrayed her. But Chara didn’t have Animosity. That’s the confusing part. Orrrrrrrrr......................maybe cami hadnt come up with a story yet so i guess that chara just had hate :/

Chara learned how to control his Hate, and that's what Animosity is. It's controlled Hate

@@TheCoolerSans Well, kinda. He took the Hate out of Asriel and he managed to 'tame' it, which is why it didn't take over him. So now Chara's gonna use the tamed Hate (Animosity) against the HATE that came out of Betty's body
I found it endearing to see Chara and Asriel hug after SO much time!
Remember that Chara came back during "My Promise", and I know he replaced Frisk in the timeline for all the events that happened in the past, but damn, Chara and Asriel hadn't had a chance to HUG after the Season 1 Finale, Continue! I mean, look at the happiness on both of their faces during this moment! It was such a BEAUTIFUL moment! Two Best Friends who both died, had a second chance in life and are reunited!!! Isn't that WONDERFUL?!

The one and only problem I have with this amazing series is how Asriel gets a headache from three lockets, but not from Chara existing while he has her soul in him.

I think the coolest thing about it is that I’ve played and watched undertale so many times and it’s meant so much to me, and seeing that attack with better animation and sounds is just so cool cause it’s a blast from the past and I FREAKING love it!

I just realized that Chara can't defend against Asriel's lightning attack becuz Asriel knocked Chara's knife away so they couldn't use special hell as a counter. Good detail Cami!

i found this scene was kind of cliche and very underwhelming, for what i expected to be an actual fight. gasters scene and the final betty fight was definitely much more dramatic and generally better imo
@@Deltexterity I actually agree with you on that, lol. But I think the aim of this fight wasn't to be really action-based, but more on the emotional side. The whole Gaster Vs Betty rematch was definitely meant to be super dramatic tho, love that scene haha.

Toby fox made undertale 5 years ago thinking that it would just be a normal game like the others. Little did he know that it inspired so many people. So many people had different emotions like happiness, confusion, sadness, and DETERMINATION. Including camilia which is the reason why we are all able to watch this amazing fight scene of two amazing brothers fight through there own hate....thanks undertale...

I love how the entirety of glitchtale revolves around Chara and Asriel. Like their sibling love is so powerful and touching it really loops in with the general idea of the different endings (true pacifist, genocide, neutral etc). Chara and Asriel were supposed to be in two different endings yet they were brought together into one screwed up timeline and saved the world.

This scene was very different than what I’m used to. I find it quite ironic that the magic of the entire scene, and a magic so finicky I could count the number of times in storytelling where it appears *on one hand* , happens to be roughly the same as the original Asriel fight, which is another of those very few times this happens in storytelling.
