- Comparing M&S Prices To Aldi and M&S Top-Up Shop Food Haul 2023 (M&S VS ALDI)
A lil vlog where I go to M&S for a top-up style shop, topping up on my weekly shop, some fruits and veggies, bread and treats for the home. Then comparing M&S Prices to those prices to Aldi equivalent foods. This is a top-up food shop haul. I will be doing more of a "weekly" M&S/Ocado food shop haul and comparing all the prices to Aldi, for now this is just a little M&S VS Aldi shop haul price comparison 2023.

Comparing M&S Prices To Aldi and M&S Top-Up Shop Haul 2023
Hellooooooooo! I found the prices vastly different?! Maybe I need some tips on what things to get from M&S in the big food shop haul I'll be doing? As always, thanks for the love!!🥰
I think it's purely the basics that are the same like one bread, milk, one type of butter, basic fruit and veg etc
I think when folk are talking about the good value they see at M&S it’s the items that are highlighted as ‘ReMARKSable’ value. Bread, pasta, teabags, boxes of cereal, standard eggs … basic items, so being able to get marks quality at a lesser price. Your shop is largely full of high end products so you won’t have seen the bargains that are talked about in your receipt.
The chocolates in M&S are made by Thorntons and the crips are made by Walkers. I use to work in M&S and i use to take the crisps and chocolates out of the boxes and walkers and Thorntons are printed all over the boxes. percy pid chews and al their fruit gums and mint sweets are made by Trebor Bassetts.
There seems to be more home brands in there now and pantry items in m and s. Yellow stickers are good but you have to cook it on the day or freeze them.

Loving the comparisons, I tend to go near end of day to M&S as I do love their food, but also fat more yellow stickers :) Try a whole chicken in air fryer, 30 mins upside down, then 35 mins up the right way with salt and pepper on. Mud kitchen is amazing, love how Orin loves playing with mud and water xx

I get 30 fresh, farm roaming, organic eggs from my local farm for £9.... Best eggs ever and other products fresher than fresh, raw milk and yoghurt etc 👏

Tofu in the airfryer is next level chefs kiss. Also top tip- if you tear it into bite size chunks instead of cube it gets uber crispy :D

Organic eggs are no guarantee of a decent life for the chickens(Chickens in dreadful conditions fed on Oragnic Feed)-free range every time!
I shop at ocado every fortnight they've had some good deals on lately your best looking on line. The mud kitchen is brilliant. Aww Orin is such a little sweetheart take care my lovely 🥰 xxx

How do you cook your tofu in the air fryer and what do you put the tofu in to cook it
Marinade it in oil, soy sauce, and bread crumb just before putting into the air fryer! Cook for 10ish mins and see how it is. Super duper easy xxx

First time watching one of your videos - interesting. Obviously, you can 'save' at Aldi over M&S (which do great quality stuff) - but do you compare the ingredients? Because something is cheaper in Aldi, does it have more additives? Less natural ingredients? Just curious - I currently live in Belfast and there are no Aldi over here 😕
In your defence, if you are trying to test Orin with new foods, then at least M + S can be reliable to give an accurate version, but hey, just have a M + S shop once in a while and save money in another area to make it up if needed.
There are a few things I get from M&S when I'm passing that I think are cheaper than Aldi and other supermarkets like their value chicken legs which are £1.50 and some cereals are less than £1 but I wouldn't do a full shop at M&S still as it still works out more expensive than other supermarkets x
