My headcanon for all of this is Yogi and Boo Boo were time-traveling to see what other "pic-a-nic" baskets were out there, because seeing them being really old just irks me.

For the same reason that Pepe Le Pew appeared at the end of a Sylvester and Tweety cartoon-because Yogi Bear and the Flintstones are from the same team, they appear together like Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. (The name of the episode of Sylvester and Tweety in which Pepe Le Pew appeared is "Dog Pounded." Sylvester paints a white stripe on his back to make the dogs who are protecting Tweety think Sylvester is a skunk and escape. Just as Sylvester as gotten past the dogs and caught Tweety, bad news for Sylvester-that white stripe attracts Pepe Le Pew!)
I love the fact that the writers don’t care about continuity or trying to explain everything. Today’s fanboy would be screaming about the time paradox of Yogi and Boo Boo in the Stone Age. In 1963, the viewers didn’t care Yogi and Boo Boo live in the 20th century and the Flinstones lived in the Stone Age.
When cartoons were cartoons.
now you see why I'm smarter then the average Fred Flintstone Boo Boo. The Fastest Way I know to get a picnic basket.
Grub Hub, Jellystone Park-style!
Jellystone National Park wasn't given the usual prehistoric name in these Flintstones episodes.
@@3912James What would you have suggested?
@@dignityshmignity
Nothing. Jelly "stone" National Park. This is the first time that a prehistoric name wasn't needed. 😋
Sorry for the confusion.
@@3912James Ha ha! They "stoned" themselves!
I love how Mr ranger opens the door without Knocking
The Ranger should have been Ranger Smith in Stone Age uniform.
Anyone else but me think that John Goodman and Dan Akroyd should make a movie together every time I think of this scene?
They have once, Blues Brothers 2000. Not a great movie, the story is weak but the music numbers are top notch and John Goodman's acting was great.
@@mevb Oh, never heard of it
Yes

Epic episode. Aired in 1969.
March 29, 1963 actually. Love it!

0:54 Yogi bear and Boo Boo?! How did they get in this cartoon?

it's hanna barbera, they put the characters they created into other cartoons
Either time-traveling or Yogi and Boo Boo are (shudders) very old!

Love yogi & fred
Is this the same camping episode when Samantha and Darren (Bewitched) appear?
No, this one is The Swedish Visitors. Season 3, episode 27.
No. That episode with Samantha and Darren was aired in 1970. The Swedish visitors was aired in 1969.
@@TVLagoBogota43UHF The show ran from 1960-1966. In the United States.
❤❤❤
Yogi should be in the Jetsons.
im sorry WHAT
Name of episode origin?
sweedish visitors
A simply time when viewers don’t give a damn about continuity.
