Budget is whatever we can afford after rent (equipment is basically just a DSLR and some clamp lights). Hours spent are.... significant. There are a lot of hours. That were spent.
This series was seriously the most entertainment I've had on TH-cam or "TV" for years. An engaging story. Funny script. Amusing, sometimes even good acting at times. Plenty of quirky moments and geeky eastereggs littered throughout... and great special effects to top it all off. An absolute gem.

I gotta tell you... This is the best series that I have ever seen on youtube! TH-cam want original content + series exclusive to youtube??? They already have on of the best ones they could have ever hoped for! They should be funding this project for sure!
Only 131,000 views.. How do more people now know about this?!? Why did I just learn of this series after 8 years! This is amazing and I can't wait to see Dynamo Dreams.
This really is the best of TH-cam, Slick, original ideas, excellent production. Compelling camerawork. I hope all YT content providers eventually take notice. This is what everyone else should be doing. Liked and subscribed. Both here and on my Roku box. Keep up the excellent work!
At the last second he flashes out. He winds up in the desert outside shade? Cut to Ava and the shy guy who wants to ask her out. There stargazing outside of the city of Shade. The shy guy makes a move but is turned down. off int he distance a Zombie howls, they decide to leave. On the road back the couple pick up a seemingly disoriented Axel Rubix, and give him a ride into shade. They all fall asleep in the camper? (why fall asleep with the scary looking homeless guy? What was in the beer? )
Ok, so I just came from the just released Dynamo Dream Ep.1 "Salad Mug" and now found out about this already existing old Dynamo series. Until now I only knew about Dynamo Dream, so whats the deal about this old one then? I guess the naming difference is "Dynamo" vs. "Dynamo Dream"? But are they maybe related in a prequel/sequel way?
You can actually see the tower in the background of a scene in salad mug and hear the DYNAMO theme. I already know DYNAMO for a long time so that got me really hyped.
@@applejuices You can also hear the first musical cue of Episode 3 repeated over the dizziness scene at the end, first when the shadow person appeared. And the tunnel is in the end of Episode 5. I also feel like the one bit in episode 1 where the world is slowly being built part by part with the long yellow clock in the sky is a bit similar to how the world disappears and is rebuilt differently at the end of Salad Mug. The pink code also appears all over Dynamo. And I feel like that code has something to do with “the Cure” because of what happens to Gage in Episode 5, when you seemingly look into his sock puppet brain.
He made dynamo dream because he didn’t want people to watch 8 year old work to get the full picture. So the new series is meant to be a new story in the same world.
WOW!! incredible! Excellent CG and great use of blender, but the story itself was interesting as well! Loved the futuristic vintage feel (if thats possible ;) ) with some humor to break everything up, awesome job!
This gave me a feeling since watching it the first time, which I cannot describe, but it brings me to watch it again and again.. I really love it! It's impressive, that after such a lot of somehow "apocalyptic" sci-fi zivilisations there is still plenty of room for something so very new and different like that. Keep up the good work!!
I shiver with excitement at the prospect that this is a no-budget short made with open source software. This is one of the more interesting science fiction shorts I've ever seen, and *anyone can have the software*. Beautiful.

A detective and a photo-bot are taking data on an odd burnspot on the ground. The detective writes it off but then is joined by an agent of the superinelligence agency. Who lets slip information that he shouldn't, That the burn spot was something else completely.

Oh in case you didn't understand from my previous post, this is FREAKING AWESOME. I've watched each of them at least ten times. OK, Axel Rubix, is asleep on the deck of his nearly derelict ship when the ship warns him of incoming fleshbats. Waking him up. He is all hair glasses and nose. He tries to run but winds up on deck, the steering locked, shooting his revolver at the fleshbats. (not the most efficient way to deal with them) He then flies right into the maw of a giant toothy monster.
It was a "Dript" (Drift) from shadow state five. He then either summons a huge monster, or shifts the local reality to something adjacent to the beast. who then slaughters detective and everyone at the "crime" scene. He pulls out the file and states "Rubix came back" cue credits. So Rubix is int he camper, with demon monster owner Superintelligence agent hot on his heels and it's not apparent if he has all of his marbles, Someone is administering tests oon sleeping shy guy.
