This is a really awesome tutorial! Do you happen to have the approximate measurements of the finished sweater ? Trying to figure out how much extra yarn ill need to make it a bigger size for me !
hii thanks so much for this tutorial girlie! i was wondering if you might maybe answer a question i had though. i know you made this with weight 4 yarn but i bought this really pretty yarn to make a sweater for my nephew and its weight 3. are there any adjustments i may need to make to follow your tutorial with this yarn or will it be ok? like maybe a smaller hook size or something. sorry if this is a dumb question im really new to this
i would suggest using a smaller hook and add more chains and rows with smaller yarn everything will be smaller, i wouldn’t pay attention to the numbers more the size of things and use the video for the concept
hii i have a question! so when i crochet my ends aren't straight how do i fix this? and do you have suggestion on how to keep straight edges while crocheting? ❤
I just found you on instagram am so LOVE YOUR ART 💗💗 Btw can I increase or decrease the width/ length? I wanted to make it a little longer if that’s possible. Love you 💗💗
thank you! that is so sweet! if you want to increase how wide it is, when we do our starting chain for the front, (the first step) add more chains, if you want to make it longer add more rows of half double crochet in the beginning, and then do the same number + 1 extra row on the back
thank you! i would make less rows of the body and start making the neckline earlier, you’d want to start from the middle and decrease on the inside stitch only creating an inner slant
i think for that you’ll have to make the square shape a diamond, to do that cut out the part where they said -12 and just crochet it to the middle which is 70/2 = 35 ( you can minus two to four Stiches to your liking) , then start decreasing from there but i think if you do a v neck you should start lower maybe start at the 35 row ( I haven’t made the sweater im just talking from my experience) so you can adjust the rows while your making it! take the 35 rows with a grain of salt cuz ive not made it yet youre gonna have to see how low or high that is
Okay I have a little question if I would do it for a male person would the neck part still be 12-15 stitches or would you recommend maybe 20 or something stitches? Im so unsure^^"
This looks very doable, as long as I don't get tired of the half-doubles! Now to decide on the yarn! Thank you!
You make this look so easy. I'm going to stop over-thinking it and telling myself what could go wrong and finally make my 1st sweater!! Thank you😊
Happy Birthday 🎂 My youngest daughter celebrated her birthday this coming week too. Blessings 😇 Thanks for the tips. Awesome! 😊
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AS SOMEONE WHOS SO BAD AT SEWING

Thanks for this tutorial. You have an easy manner of explaining things, and your voice is so calming ❤
Great instructions and video! Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed it!😊
This is awesome! How could you adapt this for it to be a v-neck?
thank you! i would make less rows of the body and start making the neckline earlier, you’d want to start from the middle and decrease on the inside stitch only creating an inner slant

Looks like big twist from joanns
