Thank you for being real and sharing your struggles. I am newer to reselling, about a year in and I can tell you that I have worked around the clock at this as I work a full time job. My husband has now joined me part time and I feel your pain about not living life fully. We want to also work smarter not harder so I will be excited to see more video's. You are doing great, so keep it up!

Thanks for sharing your story! Wishing you all the best moving forward. I’ll be tuning in to your channel. I love your honesty and transparency. I resell as a supplement to my retirement and sometimes I have to remember it is not my full time job😅 I got caught up in buying inventory on whatnot early on but realized that doesn’t make financial sense for my business. I enjoy the thrifting so have tried to curb my impulse buying on live shows. 😊 That’s not to say I haven’t had some winners. I sold a Visvim jacket I purchased from you and resold it for 430.00 on Poshmark. I only sell on one platform because I don’t want all the bookwork.
Thanks again for sharing your story!

Great job analyzing and figuring out what works and what doesn't. I'm a new reseller but I'm also not new to this planet (haha) and I work full time as a paramedic. Reselling brings me joy beause I get to source and it's fun, and I get to match up people to items that hopefully bring them joy. BUT... if it becomes something that doesn't bring me joy, why would I do it? I also happen to love my career as a paramedic and don't want to resell full time. Your realization is soooo important for you and it warms my heart to see you be so much more intentional. This intention is going to be so important later in life when you look back on family time... because being slower and intentional helps you to form memories. Hustling constantly doesn't let your body really form long term memories. You aren't making some of the mistakes I did ... sometimes I look back and FB Memories from a decade ago and don't remember that day, even though I see I was with my kids and doing a fun activity. Anyway, this has been a really long comment...

Wow! Not everything that shines is gold. We had to start reselling during the pandemic when I lost my job and I was the main source of income in my family. We hit about $260K but it has been so much work that sometimes I have thought about going back to work again, but I don’t think you can make wealth by been an employee , keep going , you are in the right track but takes time to build a business and make it work for you.

Bless you, Ashley. I am 77 yrs old. I can never get back those years with my son. I wish that I have not worked so much so that I could have been with him more.
When my mother died she left me me lots of stuff. I need to get rid of it for the best price soon.
I have 3 houses and 1 is a drag on my bank account so I am selling it. The renter left so much stuff on platform. Your videos really help. Thank you so much. I don't want to leave my son with the burden of a bunch of stuff to deal with.

My goal at the start of the year was simple: make enough money to pay for our family to go to Disneyland in a big and comfortable way. I budgeted what we'd need to have a no holds barred kind of trip and that's my goal.
I dream of doing more, but I know this alone will be huge for us. Being able to have a dream vacation without taking from our usual income is a blessing. I'm excited to hit my goal and then see what comes next!

WOW. I’ve learned SO MUCH with this ONE video. I admire, respect and look up to you and Jeff even more after THIS video. First and foremost, it is not a competition. We are all doing our best. We all have our own challenges, constraints, limits ETC as to where we wish to be in our reselling story. Not that I ever wish to do a live show as I’m only part time because of my 1st business constraints(?) but I just wish that they made it more fair and manageable for those that do want to do lives consistently if that’s what they wish to do. My “hustle” is for me to have safe shelter, clothes on my back and food in my belly. My reselling is to keep items out of the landfill, sustainably and good practices for lifetime garments. I SINCERELY appreciate your transparency, your honesty and vulnerability in sharing your seasons, transitions and the beauty of evolving to take care of YOU and your family. Thank you SO MUCH. ❤

Loved this girl!! I still do live sales but it's not my priority Ebay & Poshmark are. I am mainly doing kids shows on whatnot now and don't stress about the shows anymore like I used to. I so agree with you about the giveaways too. I don't do them every time and honest think they shouldn't be a part of the deal. My goal this year has been adding higher end items to Poshmark & Ebay stores and that has been a good success so far. I so appreciate you sharing the behind the scenes of what really happened. People see what is happening on shows or in closets but don't know the hard core work it takes to do what we do. I work a average of 10 hours a day between Poshmark, Ebay, my TH-cam channel and whatnot. My husband & I are empty nesters which makes that a bit easier for me but I hope to hire out some of the work soon when my business is ready for it.

Well Ashley, you deserve a compliment how flawless and trendy your makeup and hair looks for a busy mom of 8 kids. There are definitely some kink they need to work out on them to be enriching and fair to seller and buyer. Maybe if people had to make a reservation ahead to attend online auctions they would value he opportunity more as the seller has to put a lot of work into the show. Also, there should be policies that resellers should not bringing children on to these shows under he age of 12 or 14 and same with doing your tube videos in this niche. Parents should foremost be very protective of their children. ✨📣 MJ WeThin

I appreciate that compliment on the makeup. Yes it hasn't been until recently my kids pop in every once in a while. And that was only after they begged for them to be in videos or say hi, and only few do it. There is definitely a lot of craziness happening with kiddos online now a days, so protecting them is important.

I started making sourdough bread, english muffins, pizza dough ect last year and it is such an awesome way to slow down and disconnect from thinking about reselling all the time. Pizza dough is our favorite! I loved the way you broke everything down in this video, i tried what not over and over and over and couldn't find momentum and couldn't let things go for such small profit, so back to listing I went. @@r0se_777 Yes, gross numbers can be very deceiving. While people really shouldn’t ask resellers what their true net profit is - it would be nice if they gave a range. Such as - Gross $205,000 and the Net was between $110,000-135,000. It shows a bit of the true numbers because as we all know some resellers can gross over $205k and only net $45k.
