At 3:28 Michael tells the crowd...and his brothers....that this is their final tour together. Jermaine and Jackie smile in the background, but are thinking..."Wait...What did he just say?"
2K16 at this point Michael already had 2 solo projects and had separated hisself from his brothers. I think he did this tour to help them with money. But I'm sure they already knew this was Mjs last run with them
As much as I love the Jacksons all together, I can understand Mike wanting to spread his wings. From what I hear, when he got back stage, his dad was pissed, but Mike wasn't taking it. Dude needed to move on.
Michael needed to move on from the Brothers for him gain superstardom. I understand Joe’s concern with Michael moving on though. Joe used to get 5 sticks together and say you can’t break them if you try but he would then take out 1 stick and it would break easily. He was just trying to show them how you could be easily broken if you don’t stick together with all the people trying to gain something from you and trying to take advantage of you which was Michael’s downfall at the end.
Michael did this Tour as a favor to his Mother and Joe. Joe got the idea after Motown 25 performance. Michael wasn't feeling this shit. He was tired of carrying them. He wanted to end it after the Destiny album. Then he went solo with "Off the Wall", and then they come begging again to do an album. Of Course Michael did it . That was the"Triumph" album. Then they saw the success of Michael's next solo album "Thriller" , and wanted another Jacksons album which was this one "Victory". After this, Michael was done with them.
Every single thing you said was a complete lie. How do I know this, unlike you I actually have met and talked to all the Jacksons, including Michael and still talk to several of them to this day. First of all when the Jacksons signed to Epic records their contract stated that solo albums would be made alternating with group albums,a Jackson album would be made followed by a Michael solo album which was always the norm for them. Nobody forced Michael to do a thing! If the Destiny album which came before Off the Wall hadn't what it did then Off the Wall would not have happened and Epic would've dropped all of them. Nobody forced or begged Michael to do a thing,he did that tour because he loved being on stage and he wanted to be on stage. He only was hesitant at first because he felt he was overexposed and that came from his mouth. Also though Michael announced this as their last and final tour together none of the brothers name called him or were upset with him, they wanted to continue the tour to Europe and overseas and even then Michael was still a member of the Jacksons until the Bad album was released. So many lies have been spread and told about this tour and how all of them acted or Michael acted towards them,if you actually talked to anybody on that tour as I did and also went to 3 shows you would know none of these rumors were true. Michael most certainly loved his family and his only issue with anything on that tour was the hiring of Don King as promoter.

I'm not sure that you can blame Michael though because not only did Joe Jackson and the brothers force him to do the Pepsi commercial in which his hair caught on fire, they also created the RIDICULOUS ticket pricing(they set up a lottery system in which you had to send in a money order though the mail and you were obligated to buy 4 tickets!!) for the Victory Tour. This angered a LOT of people, and Michael is the one who everyone blamed for being greedy, even though it wasn't his idea. I bring this up to say that the fire and all of the negative publicity he was getting probably made him upset at his brothers for the entire tour, so once it was over he decided to ditch them and tour/perform on his own for the next 17 YEARS!!! There were also rumors that Michael Jackson would have his own limo and private jets taking him from city to city, while his brothers rode a tour bus!! If this was true, Michael must have really been fed up with his family(particularly his brothers and father) at this point
The whole thing was a shotgun marriage from the start. See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya! He was in a hurry to get out on his own!
That is a moment that the Jacksons will keep together forever. The last performance as a group act. But I know in my heart that Michael will grow in the music industry and a lot of people wanted to see michael on the victory tour. I think the jackson brother know that it was coming to an end and they where finished as a group. It must have been very sad. Michael is good on working the stage alone. Even in this final show the brother did not even come forward and dance and be in the spot light. I felt that they feel they where backup singers to him. I sure they enjoy the show and performing but they knew that day will come and mj really needed to be a solo artist. I love you michael. I believe that he is still living.
True, but when Michael announced on stage at the end that this will be their last concert/tour together as a group, the brothers didn't know Michael would say that and were shocked and upset. They didn't expect him to say that, so the chemistry between them was shaky. Also, during the tour the brothers stayed in separate hotel rooms. You're correct on the "Victory" album. The Jackson brothers didn't collaborate as well compared to "Destiny" and "Triumph". MJ had WAY more input on "Triumph" tour.
Me and my family had the pleasure of seeing them in Baltimore for the Victory and and many other concert they gave in Baltimore. Thank you Jackson. I love your in Jesus name
Marlon's bodyroll was FIRE!! OMG so hott. He's awesome. I LOVE him. It sucks how people always try to compare his moves to Michael's and say he sucks. Michael was the BEST, but you don't have to hate on his brother.
This was simply amazing! I'm the same age as Michael so it's like I grew up with this incredible musical group. Although Michael was 26 years old here he seems like a very young performer.....but at this very young age he had been taking the world by storm for over 15 years already! What's so great in my opinion about this performance is seeing the great stage presence of the brothers and you can sense how close they are. Michael took turns dancing with Marlon and Randy.....and he did the moves that each of them do best with them as not to outshine them. Now that's brotherly love! I couldn't help but think about the stories I've heard about them trashing hotel rooms all over the country when they were on tour as young children. And when their entire family came on stage near the end of this video....WOW! I can't believe I just typed all of this....yes I can...because I have always loved this incredibly talented family and I always will. RIP Michael!🙏🏽❤
What year is it now? 2015. This was 31 fucking years ago and it was THE BEST THEN and still is THE BEST NOW!! I'm almost 50 years old now and you can take it from me: If you don't enjoy or see the talent here, I'm sorry for you!!

Actually 2001 last time
True, but when Michael announced on stage at the end that this will be their last concert/tour together as a group, the brothers didn't know Michael would say that and were shocked and upset.
Confidence thru the roof he knew he was going to be GREAT 🐐🔥
Marlon's hip grinding and Michael and Randy's dance off were fantastic.
what he did from 5:45 to 6:00 dont even seem humanly possible
Omar Scruggs right? That spin glide was smooth and perfect, and the way how he stopped made him look like a robot
@@PresidentialRobloxCrew exactly
He was just sliding and gliding perfectly.
Good catch I agree 100%
This was a great way 2 end a show. I like how the whole family comes out and gets down together. God bless the Jackson family.
Such incredible, raw, god given talent, just oozing out of MJ!!!!!!
+Helma Spengler MIKE IS MORE THAN UNIQUE.....absolut! ;)
i totally agree
You look gorgeous for almost 50
2024 still awesome
Wow - what a finale! I loved the ending so much - oh and the middle and the start and the in between - spectacular. They are so exciting compared to everyone else I have ever seen - no-one will ever equal the Jacksons when playing together, just as there will never be another Michael Joseph Jackson, Thank you so much for sharing this L.O.V.E x
the best family ever!!! we love jackson five.
Thanks for the upload! The whole family was sooooo talented. Oh my gosh! Thank God he blessed them to entertain us the way they did!
And which sibling does Michael grab by the hand at 8:10 and drag to the front of the stage? Janet, of course. A queen was yet to be crowned......
There was a reason he did that. Look at Janet closely.
AMAZING! I love you all my talented brothers! Thank you for posting it! I'll never saw such amazing artists! Michael is an Unique Phenomenon! In my opinion Jacksons (J5) are the best band of music & entertainment EVER! Love & Respect for you my lovely bros!

3:19 "Listen up, I'd like to say, this our last and final tour, and.... I think this is our farewell tour. You all have been wonderful, it's been a long 20 years, and we love you all."

It's kinda crazy to think that at this time, Michael was the biggest star in the world with the best selling album in history, and he has to tour with his brothers. I'm sure he was glad when it was over.
This is an excellent quality video of just another totally brilliant performance by Michael and the Jacksons. Awesome!!! Would have been amazing to be in this audience. I agree, why aren't these performances for sale? thanks heaps for sharing this. Love it.
8:36 Cutest part of the video when Michael pulled Emmanuel Lewis on stage and Emmanuel started dancing that put a broad smile on Michael's face. 😍😚❤

The last time Michael Jackson and The Jacksons all performed together on the 1984 Victory Tour in Los Angeles!
he's exhausted so thin and the end of this tour that didn't want to do. and woooow that is when he told the world it was the last tour with the Jackson ! nobody knew up to this point no even his family - amazing ! he really got enough at this point...well done Michael !
This was the last concert of the tour.
The last concert the Jackson 5 ever did together. The end of an era that began when Michael was only around 5 yrs old in Gary, Indiana. Wow, what a monumental moment we just watched here.
They performed again in 2001
I watch this all the time…. The last boy vibe and dance😂😂😂
Ele aqui estava demais!!!Que energia é essa!😄
He turns he head and looks in the crowd as he Moonwalks.....Thats the only time I ever seen him do that. Coldest shit ever!
I just know they all wish they can go back in time to this moment 🥺
I love this family 💓 Love Jacksons !
