Great video again! The guy on the sloped walk with the artwork behind is the big winner for me! The geometry is very clean and pleasing IMO! You managed to frame his upper half in a clean piece of the design and have his stride create a complementary triangle to the triangle that is pointing down at him!
Thank you👍 I'm sure if you give it a go you'll grow to enjoy street photography, a very diverse genre of photography & can be done any time of the day in all weather🙂
Really enjoy your street photography.Liked the visit to Granville Island.A great insight into what Vancouver has to offer.Look forward to the next one.Ps. think you will find that it's called a Nova Scotia pie.
Cheers Jim pleased you enjoyed it, not sure what a Nova Scotia, pie looks like, but come to think of it it looked like a scotch pie but nothing like what I remember taste-wise haha
Great video, Bri! I love the combination of landscape photography and street photography content you produce. I’m not sure many channels out there attempt to cover both and it only adds the diversity of skills a photographer can take up. Please keep ‘em coming!
Hey Bri just found your channel great video mate love the market shots. Two of my fave subjects to shoot and vlog are landscapes and street photography always good Tomic it up. Back in 2019 just before the world went insane there were huge wild fires in Australia the smoke and haze made it over to New Zealand made for some very eerie surreal sunrises and sets incredible scenes. Liked and subbed mate stay well regards Paul
Hi Bri, first time coming across your channel and I will subscribe, you really sound Middlesbrough, I'm a Stockton photographer, good to hear a local Teesside accent abroad.
Great video! I love the editing and music worked well. One question would you want lots of folks out and about to give you more subjects? Anyway, I love street and find it quite challenging. I am looking forward to the next video. Cheers-
Much appreciated Kurt thanks for taking a look 😊👍 Early mornings I find makes a great time for doing street photography, makes it much easier to single out subjects, the quietness of the streets at that time of day is quite relaxing too.
@@BriBarnhamPhotography I didn’t think about the mellow vibe in the morning. Street photography can be a bit intense sometimes. I’ll have to try a morning session.
Nice one, Bri...up dark and early I see...lots of good potential downtown for sure...I hope you can do a few more street photography videos in the future!
Bigger cities work better for sure Stephen👍 I don't carry much when doing street really, just a camera & 1 lens, use the pocket 2 for my video along with my camera Sony A7Riii
Great stuff Bri. The sights and smells of the market were wonderful to see. Brought back some memories of Canada Day 2019 when I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Vancouver. Thanks for the tips too..heading to South Melbourne market on Sunday so I’ll see what I can capture.
@@BriBarnhamPhotography No market visits for me this weekend. We’re going into lockdown for the 6th time. Hopefully only for the advertised week. I guess I’ll get that spare bedroom painted after all.
Nice video Bri. You could go mad in that market. Particularly liked the bloke in the rain with his brolly though. Street photography is something I wouldn't mind having a go at. Although, my little town doesn't quite have the appeal of downtown Vancouver. 😁
Another set of cracking shots Bri. That market looked great, if only those screens were not there. The guy with the umbrella was my fave though. Really like these street photography episodes. Great video.
Thanks, Ian👍 Yeah, the screens were a bit frustrating, not forgetting the crowds of people in there that day, but still enjoyed the wander around & nice to show something a bit different. Street photography isn't for everyone but has taught me a lot about photography in general &!that's always a plus & why I recommend people give it a go. The guy under the umbrella was my favourite too.🙂
Another fine video...for me,the shots of the guy and the umbrella, and the guy walking in front of the artwork on the building were my faves, but you caught some really good shots overall!
Another awesome video. Lots of great images too. Specially I like the videos you do around Vancouver because I can go to those locations try to shoot on those locations with my amateur skills. Last week I took an image moon rise behind the Canada place ,shot the image across from it from Stanley Park before this smoke came in. Enjoyed the video. Please keep putting more.
That's great to hear🙂 Always encouraging for me when I see that people are encouraged also through watching my video, you never know maybe we’ll cross paths in downtown out with the cameras ha👍
The guy with the umbrella is a very nice shot. Living in an urban area in north Texas, street photography is most of my shots. The landscape here is not very interesting. That's why you never see Dallas based landscape photographers.
Thank you 🙂 Your quite right, Street photography is challenging & yes it's not as easy as it looks haha. But I do love it & everyone should give it a go to find out for themselves.👍
No Mike everything was good in that respect, I tend not to make it too obvious I'm taking pictures of the people, sometimes it's easier said than done but plan to talk about that in future videos. Hope that helps 👍
The subject with the umbrella is my favourite!
Mine too mate 🙂👍
Thanks for taking us along! Enjoyed the video and the images. Learned something as well.
That's great thanks, Gary🙂

Vancouver - my Vancouver! Miss it so much. Thanks, Bri.
Nice video, some good shots ... thanks for sharing !!!
Thank you 😊
Great job Bri… Shane about the pigeon bomber :-) the market shots were great .. vibrant and storytelling
Cheers, Darren much appreciated. With street photography never look up 🙄💩🤣
@@BriBarnhamPhotography You should invite Adam over to try his hand at street :-)
@@DarrenJSpoonley Now that would make for an interesting video 🤣
Thanks for sharing, have a great week.
You're welcome thanks 🙂
Great video Bri, not something i would normally do but you have inspired me to give it a go thanks.

Hi Brian, thanks for the video. I like Street photography but it really doesn't work in a very small town. It would be nice to see you list of gear

Another great video Brian reminding me of my hometown. It makes me sad to see how quiet everywhere is - not like it should be😢
