    I had a few cheap knock offs of SAK's as a kid, and started carrying traditional two or three bladed folders, like a Boy Scouts knife, and then Leathermans for years. I recently fly unexpectedly, and didn't bring a knife so I could just take carry on to travel quickly. I've felt naked without a pocket tool/blade, so I picked up a two layer SAK, Outdoors one similar to the Spartan, but the file instead of the smaller blade. What a great little tool! Makes me feel like MacGyver. Then I found your channel, and it nearly blew my mind. You, sir, are a SAK genius. Thanks for helping me to think outside the box. I can see it being a standalone hobby as well as a useful tool. Looking forward to watching more. I should give you a shoutout on my upcoming 3 knife video. Take care.

      Τhis is the last option for using a tourniquet, but it can work, especially if something like a credit card is placed underneath of the cord, at the pressure point.Τhis video for some inexplicable reason is successful,many people loved it.th-cam.com/video/v63x5G8-hHQ/w-d-xo.html

    3:40 What length of paracord did you use? And what is the size of that carabiner?

    • @nikgyver7
      @nikgyver7  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      the length of the paracord depends on your personal needs, do some tests to match the length of the paracord to the size of your pocket and hands. The carabiner is 5cm long, thanks.

    • @nikgyver7
      @nikgyver7  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Mr. Tbag i think the huntsman is light weight model for all around and edc,but if yoy want somehing ligher look the compact,climber,spartan tinker sportsman..

    • @Yogangster1995
      @Yogangster1995 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      NIKOS DOULAS It's not the weight that bothers me, it's how thick it is. Sticks out of the pocket a lot and though it's not much of a bother for me, it's the other people's reaction that has me wondering. I'm considering the rambler simply because it has the most important tools that i use: The bottle opener, kinfe, scissors, nail filer, toothpick and tweezers. Plus it's smaller and thinner which will make it much less noticeable.

    • @nikgyver7
      @nikgyver7  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@enriquediaz7547 is a way yo use the lanyard as tourniquet,i have an explanation in subtitles.i have write this:WARNING:You could use the lanyard as tourniquet,the tourniquet is a system to stop seriοus bleeding.YOU CAN USE IT ΟΝLY IN BLEEDING FROM AMPUTATED LIMB or TO ARTERIAL BLEEDING(in arterial bleeding the blood jump out in high distance).Place the tourniquet and mark the time,call to help.If the help can't come quicly,you could keep tie the tourniquet for 10-15 minute and release it for 1.30-2.00 minutes and then tie again.it's way to don't loose your limp,but the life first.WARNING LEARN HOW TO USE A TOURNIQUET BEFORE TO USE IT.Must to write on title that i have subtitle explanation.thank you.
