Fantastic! My beloved composer for nearly all my long life 😊 I just opened YT to play something, anything, was tired of the silence in my house. And here it was, first thing on my feed! 🧡🌿🌹
Thats the question ! Bonne journée Renshen.
Supposedly Telemann wrote his around 1710 and Bach wrote it after 1730. They were friends and Telemann was his son's godfather. Make sense that Bach would use it and even improve upon it. Even the pizzicato strings and final dominant cadence are in both versions.
@@PaulJoseph Not a correction so much as an elaboration...there's a similar connection to the Aria in the Goldberg variations. Both Handel and Purcell use a very similar bass line in works with variations in G major.C P E Bach referenced that J S Bach would pay homage with a theme of composers he admired. I found the first half of the subject for BWV 565's Fugue in a Pachelbel Fantasia in d minor, the Fugue theme from one of the E major Fugues in the WTC J S Bach used came from Johann Caspar Ferdinand Fischer's Adriana Musica, which Froberger had previously in a Ricercar and also Fantasia in both in C major, and Froberger.
I'm astonished at Telemann‘s long life and many his comfortable and graceful music Telrmann is a Great and brilliant Alchemist of the music Tlemann is the cat‘s pajamas and knees and whiskers
I don't mean to trivialize this wonderful music, but have you ever tried playing it all day for pets while you're at work? Cats especially. It seems to suit them. Less anxious when you get home and all.

Thank you very much ❤🎶
❤solo. Fantastico
Telemann’s concertos tell a man so many things . . .
If Bach had never lived we would have Telemann statues in every town.
Gozo de fama en su época 😊
👏👏
And Vivaldi.
Vivaldi, Bach, Telemann, and others are Artists, no first or second, etc. Of course someone likes more one or another composer, but that's is totally a different matter.
No shade to the peerless JSB, but we should still have Telemann statues. Handel and Vivaldi statues, too.
Telemann was a Baroque "pioneer". Period.
Fantastic! My beloved composer for nearly all my long life 😊 I just opened YT to play something, anything, was tired of the silence in my house. And here it was, first thing on my feed! 🧡🌿🌹
Telemann is my place of peace.
Me, too. Telemann speaks to me. I sometimes swoon. 😅

Wunderschöne Musik,
Augen zu,
Kopfhörer auf und nur noch entspannen 👏👏
Danke für die hervorragende Collection! ❤️
It’s incredible that such a prolific composer gets it right all the time. Never a dud…
The Oboe Concerto first notes which opens is so similar to the F minor Harpsichord Concerto of J S Bach middle movement.
A l époque il était permis "d emprunter" des thèmes musicaux à ses contemporains . Mais qui a copier qui ?? Thats the question !

@ Telemann was Godfather to JSB’s son C P E Bach, just as Johann Pachelbel was Godfather to JSB’s older sister.
@@Renshen1957 Yes, thanks for correcting me on that.

Which orchestra is performing?
I will buy from Amazon...if it is available.... thanks for sharing.

The first track is similar to one of Bach's keyboard concerto (No.5, mov2) , known as "Arioso". So, I'm curious about which one was composed earlier.
