I still have my Fat Possum cuts, love this band, hope you found your Keys by now. Hmmm... "derigible" -I just wanted to say that!
Exactly! They Possess Authenticity ... I've found that I, & rock fans in general, can *smell* if you aren't authentic. We need more in this day & age that genuine/authentic! Great Video
So what log has this old rocker been under? These guys are phenomenal!!!👍 Just stumbled onto The Keys by accidental fate, and glad I did. Maybe rock n roll ain’t dead after all!!!! ROCK ON!!!!👍👌🇺🇸😁
The blues and rock have always been alive in northeast Ohio. The Black Keys made sure the rest of the planet was still paying attention. Born in Akron too, and been trying to play along with Clapton, Beck, Page, John Lee, Muddy, R.L., Jr., and many others since the 70's?!;O Not ready to stop yet! ;D
Dan's Singing/Initial mystery intro/ Rhythm guitar playing while singing are spot on ! gives me goosebumps! But when this dude solos: Kind of a cringe- Like doesnt gel well. He can truly create amazing solos like the Weight oF Love Solo.. But lets just choose to ignore this solo- I am sure he did too
whenever the underground needs a revival, an obscure garage band is born here and there. The definition of revival-garage rock band, once understood as to what it is by a group of friends, a new band is thus born like Television, Nirvana, Sonic Youth or the Black keys and the "underground" tradition continues specially when everyone else thought it was dead.
;D ! Wheels of Fire made me want to play guitar. What the Keys do to/with the blues makes me keep playing over 4 decades after I picked one up. ;) Delta Kream is a masterpiece!!! Been playing along every night since it was released. Doesn't hurt that we're all from Akron. I remember when you could still smell rubber in the air?! ;O
Dan's guitar playing always makes me smile 😃 really wish I'd got to see them live during the 2010s. Damn being ill 😭 but thank God for videos like this 🙌
I love this band almost as much as qotsa...and almost as much as maiden....yeah, they're my third favorite band. I don't think they themselves realize how good they are.
Shivang Srivastava Actually "weight of love" was highly influenced by Pink Floyd I think he meant to say it's like Pink Floyd because this live version of the song has a couple riffs from "weight of love"
They sound great but my favorite black keys period was the crystal ballroom performance when it was just the two of them and Dan's guitar was so hot it would feedback between each note!
dude. i saw these guys so many times in the early 2000s...never paid more than $15 for a ticket. so great.
Oops.lucky man 😮
Dan pulled a riff out of weight of love during that solo. Awesome
I noticed that as well. Guitarist have their own style and he does like that scale
Yessss
At the time of this concert, I think Weight of Love had already been released
This blows the studio version out of the water !
+TheRubberMatch damn right!!
Not lyrically but def musically !
Nah. But I like this version
Gennaro Totally disagree! Studio was much less sloppy! Drummer needs a metronome bad
I like the She's Long Gone live version from Austin City Limits too.
Dear God, how I need a new Black Keys album NOW.

If I could like this a million times I would!
These guys are as genuine, grass-roots as it gets.

Yeah I found the band about a year ago, they're mindblowing. Them and Clutch are the only true bad a** rock bands around.

So underrated this band...Top band
They should release a live album that would be amazing
Reid Yentzen yessss
this show is actually on vinyl i think

The first minute of this reminded me of a song from the 90's I havent thought about in ages. Portishead - Glory Box
not many bands can pull off intros/jams like that. Really shows how talented they are
Rest In Peace Richard Swift. A true legend
Amazing !! My new favorite band ! Telling others to follow the band wagon ! Incredible musicians
Drummer really really really knows his trade. Fantastic player. Awesome band.
Best solo ever.
what the fuck r u talking about?
Shivang Srivastava The solo?...

Hank Hill, I know, right ?
I'll tell you what
I love the album version of this song, but this version is even better ❤❤❤ I really hope to see this song live one day
Guitar + bass + organ = mind blowing

Better than the studio version? Hell yeah!
Not really, but I dig it.
Why is this crowd not hype? Im freaking head banging in my room right now
J Lyn "Indie Rock" Isn't exactly head banging kind of rock.
my head would disagree
Regis Riley this isn't indie rock, it's blues rock
@@geeza1200 Whatever label you put on it, it makes me want to move in mysterious manners. Including my head.
Regis Riley I disagree and agree at the same time. It’s a genre that is more eyes and ears than banging your head about like a bunch of penguins
Loose. And tight. At the same time. Awesome!
Patrick's bass drum was made, to blow me away!!
If only I could find this version on ITunes. Amazing... first time hearing them and I’m hooked.
Spotify
so reminds me of Cream from the 60's Clapton's psychedelic blues stuff !
Excellent !!!

If I could still have children, I would have Dan Auerbach’s child ❤️❤️
Best live performance ever 💯
Definitivo... en vivo ese solo de guitarra le ha dado duro a la versión de estudio. Muy buenos!
I come here so often and there are not really any comments to look at so mine as well post one.
R.I.P. Richard Swift
¡Cuando la música de verdad suena mejor que en el estudio! Brutal...

Beautiful song skill
Love the fast shutter speed
Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!
That guitar rig! Dan is a national treasure.
I watch these videos and I wonder why people are saying they've lost their enthusiasm for music...
will doe The mainstream showers the general consensus with so much putrescence that they arent aware of these gems 💙
@@LimaKiloRomeo 'Putrescence' is a fantastic word that I'll definitely be using in future, thanks for that one.
How the F*** do you capture that sound to a recording - Jesus! Absolutely incredible 🤯
Love!!!
Love it!!!!!!!
Simple music scores but good to listen. Finally i got my taste.
Patrick was a beast during the solo!
That's where Pat is at his best, when him and Dan are just jamming together.
RIP Richard Smith!

To quote Beevis and Butthead "the Black Keys rock."
I'm in love
Master of simple riffs
Its good That iam Not the only One 😂🙈🙈
Thought I came to a pink floyd video by accident with that intro
...and you stayed for that riff! And some say Rock is dead... Wake up.
Loudy I never said I left after the riff, the black keys are fucking brill in general.
What the fuck is wrong with you bro? Black keys & Pink Floyd cant be compared . they are both on some other level. Totally different .

Dope!!!
I’m hearing Robert Plant vocals driving a Robin Trower train with a Jimmy Hendrix vibe and the caveman drums of John Bonham.
Holy shit

is that Richard Swift on the bass guitar? R.i.P.
Top bon groupe
Better than the album version
