Hello dragon fruit people! Hope you are having a great day in the garden! In this video I show you my first Dragon fruit flower of the 2022 dragon fruit season! Super excited to get it started and can’t wait for fruit! In this vid there is a few tips on when will a dragon fruit flower open and also tips on pollinating a self sterile dragon fruit variety that needs a cross pollination! Thanks so much for watching!

Nice flower. I had to move my young Purple Haze and used a plant blanket to avoid sunburn. Today saw a bud beginning on 30 inch County Roads cutting. Seller advertised it is self fertile. Will test it when flower grows and opens.

Once it’s pollenated do you just water as normal or do you still give it fertilizer? Can you do a video on that🙏❤️!

Hey! This is a great question! So I fertilize once right before season with chicken manure and then these buds came! I’d love to do a vid thanks for the suggestion! But to answer your question I will not be fertilizing again unless second wave is lookin low
