Also, I apparently don't know how to properly say Lutefisk... uff da...

As a Minnesotan, this is painfully inaccurate. That goodbye should’ve been at least half an hour, if not more.

Of course we're the only state that ever physically gets up and leaves. Nearly perfect execution of the Minnesota goodbye. I say nearly because:
    1. You forgot to offer leftovers.
    2. You forgot to ask how everyone's third uncle was doing.
    3. You forgot to tell them; "tell your folks I says hi now."
    4. Finally, you forgot to awkwardly squeeze right past ya.

Also loot-eh-fisk isn't fun. Especially when your Norwegian grandmas never quite rinsed it enough. However, lefse, krumkakke, sanbakkels, and risgrøt are magnificent holiday staples 'round here. Even though I personally like sanbakkels better in the spring and summer when I can have 'em with berries.
Random fun WI and MN television/media interaction - because where I live is so close to MN, because of how television stations worked for so long, if the Packers and Vikings both played at the same time, folks without cable access up here wouldn't be able to watch the Packers play, because only the Vikings games would be broadcast. I'm sure that's pretty common, just something I found funny. I personally do not care about football.
