I will never by commercial honey again after learning the facts about the honey industry. Honey bees have been dying at an alarming rate, up to 50% in the last several years. Yet honey consumption has gone up at least that much in the same time. So how is that possible? It's because China has been increasing their supply by adding rice syrup and other fillers to their honey and dumping it on the U.S. market. Even when a ban was put on them, China passed it through other Asian countries illegally. U.S. customs can't test more than a small percent of the imported honey, so the majority of the tainted honey gets in and used by large food companies in America. Buy honey that comes from local farmers. You will not only be getting honey that's better for you, due to the bees using plants in your region to make their honey, you will also be supporting a business in your local community. Nothing could be sweeter.

I started using honey on a regular basis a few years ago. Firstly as a substitute for sugar on cereal and since then I use it all the time in cooking. You can use it in nearly everything. Try frying onions in some light olive oil (slowly) with garlic then add honey to caramelize. Add chilli for some heat and you have a great side accompaniment to pretty much anything or use it as a basis for a curry or stew!! I also like to add honey to meat or fish when grilling or roasting for a beautiful and tasty glaze. Experiment!! Its also great on icecream!
Been eating Florida blueberries and local honey each day for about two weeks. About 2 cups per day. Some days with strawberries and blackberries but always with honey. I feel the difference. I have less inflammation. Better digestion, better mobility and haven't had a migraine . I'm actually shocked and didn't start this for health benefits...just started it because we got a ton of blueberries that needed eaten and had some orange blossom honey. Not until a few days in did I even look up the health benefits. After only a few days I noticed changes in how I felt and I wasn't trying to notice. I'll keep eating the honey because it's easy and it makes everything else taste great.

darkness of honey depends on the flowers they feed off, dark honey comse from pollon trees such as iron bark or stringy bark, where as lighter colours are from softer trees such sa blue gum and yellow box, some honey can be pale to almost clear or slightly tinted with another colour due to the plants the bees feed off. darker the colour the more bitter and potend the flavour of honey, lighter the colour the sweeter amd milder the flavour. there fore colour has little to no bearing on nutrition.
You are absolutely correct, "colour has little to no bearing on nutrition". It should be stressed to purchase raw honey from as close to where you live as possible. Avoid pasteurized and creamed honey, as its been heated to the point where most of the goodness has been cooked off.

U.S. customs can't test more than a small percent of the imported honey, so the majority of the tainted honey gets in and used by large food companies in America. Buy honey that comes from local farmers. You will not only be getting honey that's better for you, due to the bees using plants in your region to make their honey, you will also be supporting a business in your local community.
Nothing could be sweeter.
13 years ago I changed my eating habits and one change was from white sugar to local honey. I have lost well over 100 pounds and kept it off. And I love the fermented garlic honey. 😋❤
Isn’t honey full of sugar Naturally
@@davida7559 Fructose is the main sugar found in honey, followed by glucose and sucrose. The sweet taste of honey is attributed to its higher fructose content, and fructose is known to be sweeter than glucose or sucrose. Honey is about 17% water. (Sugar is mostly glucose which is harder to get from eating a non processed diet)
Great job !
Fermented garlic honey?
The bible mentions honey cakes a lot.

I like to mix a teaspoon of honey with a dose of raw apple cider vinegar to make it easier to drink, or use the combination as a salad dressing. It actually tastes good that way!
v
ladycomet72 that was my question. Apple cider vinegar, honey, cinnamon, and lemon. Is it too much at one time?
Sho Grant no, it’s great. Some even add cayenne pepper to the mix. Lemon, all kinds of natural acidic and spicey ingredients, like turmeric even.
real raw honey doesnt taste all that good... people actually eat supermarket honey which is virtually worthless on a nutritional level.
Honey and Lemon in lukewarm water👍
Mr IY best thing ever!!
Mr IY yes it’s very healthy 👌🏻👌🏻

I use honey in not only my tea, but also coffee. Removed all additive sugar from my diet. The honey in coffee took some getting used to, but now I love it! (with a dash of real milk) Thank you for the video!
Try Greek yogurt with honey and also add chopped walnuts on the top...... It is amazing !!!
Yep total 0% greek yogurt with berrys and greek honey. Best healthy yummy desert ever.

I put two teaspoons of raw honey every single day in my green tea with lemon and I feel great.
Try magic potion.
Chopped garlic, honey & lemon juice.
Will cure all sicknesses.
@Slo Mo Nonsense. Manuka Marketing Magic is not health advice.
@Slo Mo "Local honey that is as high quality as non-local honey is more beneficial to your body" says all the local people who learned this from their parents and grandparents and so on. I live in the Middle East.
Yeah great discovery! Grew up using honey on all kinds of foods. Uncle kept bees so we had plenty. That palmetto honey may have more antioxidants, being darker
I use honey as a sweetener instead of white/brown sugar :)
Naveen Naqvi do you use honey in your coffee?

Best way to save them is to buy honey

You should be more specific. Raw honey vs processed honey found in the teddy bear jar.
70 % of the honey in the states is fake.

Im using honey instead of sugar now. Love it

Honey, sage, and ginseng. This, combined with boiling water makes an excellent (if temporary) cure for many things involving alcohol, and it helps with insomnia as well.
Have you ever tried chicken drums grilled in the oven, after half a time put a garlic clove or two into the pan with the chicken drums, spread some honey with a brush over the meat, put it back to the oven for another 20 minutes. So tasty!
The more i think about it, the more i seriously think anxiety/depression has to do with the inflammation of certain parts of the brain. Literally every remedy that helps 'soothe' nerves or anxiety has anti-inflammatory statutes.

For ten years, I have been taking one tablespoon of raw, not processed honey and one teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar add in one cup of filtered warm water not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius every morning as soon as I get up.
Im so lglad that i clicked on this video. Who else feels the same?
The Mangled Fox 1987 I am so glad that you clicked on this video.
I feel healthier already!
The Mangled Fox 1987 Honey is super food to me love love love I never have enough. You must see the NEW video they made regarding this artificial bee hive. It's safe and requires no GMOs or anything like that. It also doesn't harm the bees but you can get your honey from the hive just by turning the knob.

You also have to be careful of what honey you buy. Not all things at the store are 100% honey or if there is any traces of honey at all.
Most people probably already know this. I'm just saying this for people that don't.

Here in Seattle real raw honey costs $11 or $12 for a 1pint jar. Sometimes it is solid and creamy like dark golden Crisco. Other times it comes like heavy molasses. It is always good though.
Manuka only.

people will put insects in cotton candy. I've never had it but I heard it yummy
That is what else I believe gave Samson his strength he ate it to revive him from the body of a dead lion. Johnathan was revived by it it when he was in a battle. The Bible mentions honey 61 times in it uses and describes some of its properties from Genesis to Revelations.
I think if I had to eat locusts I would really appreciate having them dipped in honey too! Lol.
Perhaps the honey was like the dipping sauce for the locusts.
Finally, positive beliefs! I say support the bee farmers, and no more listening to anyone who tells you you're wrong.
Yeah, beliefs, but no facts.
@@RAUL7487 the facts are being displaced by the vegan belief that the bees are the object of the holocaust, it might be true, I don't know, but beliefs attacking on the bee farmers are the nation's problem to sort out.
coffee, unsweetened almond milk, honey, and cinnamon made as a latte is what I do every morning
We have a farmers market in our town every month. The honey we get there is amazing. Tried store bought honey and there is no comparison.
Raw local honey is awesome
Cures your allergies too if taken daily for over 90 days

After such advice as this, I had a cup of warm water with honey added to it, on an empty stomach, the following morning, and felt sick for a time. Honey is an excellent anticeptic. When I had an infection oozing pus. After cleaning away the pus, I applied honey and the infection cleared up very nicely, faster than when using conventional treatment.
My father burned his leg with hot coffee and applied honey. It healed nicely.

darkness of honey depends on the flowers they feed off, dark honey comse from pollon trees such as iron bark or stringy bark, where as lighter colours are from softer trees such sa blue gum and yellow box, some honey can be pale to almost clear or slightly tinted with another colour due to the plants the bees feed off.
darker the colour the more bitter and potend the flavour of honey, lighter the colour the sweeter amd milder the flavour.
there fore colour has little to no bearing on nutrition.
You are absolutely correct, "colour has little to no bearing on nutrition". It should be stressed to purchase raw honey from as close to where you live as possible. Avoid pasteurized and creamed honey, as its been heated to the point where most of the goodness has been cooked off.
Some creamy honey has a texture like oil. And sometimes i have a feeling that they put some oil into it.
Patrick Purcell I bought a jar of raw honey but there is no expiry date on it. Do you know if raw honey have an expiry date? Thx
Paul AH no exp date if kept well can last 1000s years air tight cool space.. like many tombs.
Well, there’s a reason honey never spoils, so go figure it has so many benefits for us😅👍🏽 I love honey 🍯
It never spoils because it has so much sugar in it. Just like syrup. No other reason.
Your pfp is hilarious
Use honey on the body at the first sign of bad sores. Or on any wound. My father was bed ridden for 16 months and any time there was the least sign of a pressure sore we applied honey. He never had one bed sore.
Honey is literally the best food
FlameBlade512 I don't know why some vegans disagree with it, it's literally the only food you can eat without hurting some form of life. That's counting plants

One tb of honey along with intermittent fasting daily is the perfect solution to obesity and the common ailments that affects society. Basically limit your eating to eight hours a day and go the rest with only water, plain black coffee or green tea with no sweetness. Objective is to reduce our continuous blood sugar spikes that occurs when we eat and drink.
I incorporate honey as a sweetener in both my tea and coffee beverages. I have eliminated all sources of added sugar from my dietary intake. It required adjustment before I became accustomed to the taste, but I have developed a strong affinity for combining coffee and honey.I express gratitude for the video.
I did the same, but then I read that honey with got coffee actually releases carcinogens that are harmful for the body
What happens to your body when you eat honey everyday?

Bees are dying at an alarming rate.
Let's create a huge market for artificial hive bees then. More bees, more trees, more crops, more honey. Natural bee colonies are dying too fast.
It's supposed to be the pesticide that is a problem. I don't think capitalism can solve this one.
maybe our wireless devices are interrupting the bees communications
Pesticide is killing off the bees. Yes. Which is why governments should step in trying to fund and guide companies going in another direction.
Electric magnetic fields are killing them
Honey is good raw and underproccessed. Any honey u buy from the supermarket or ur corner bodega is not going to do much since there is hidden corn syrup and therefore can't be healthy.
That’s why I always get mine at a farmers market.
Read the labels!
My family in the mountains have bees, so I get raw honey every few months that I sell.
