Works great at cutting all different weights of leather. Can easily adjust to cut 1/8" to 4" strips. Handy cross bars add support. Includes one blade.
Blade refills available in 5 packs: item 399-308100

This is the most thorough and easy to understand video, that I’ve seen for strap cutters! Thank you, so much!!

I sometimes struggle, with softer types of leather, to pass the strip through for the first few inches. I will sometimes make a hole at the end to pass a piece of string through to help pull the leather through the strap cutter. Do you have any tips for these softer leathers that tend to need extra help to start? Thank you!

Try cutting enough to get it through the strap cutter then you can pull.
So measure out the right width and with some scissors or what have you… start the cut. Then stick the slit you made through the strap cutter. Hope that makes sense.
