the lightning bolts really tie the entire thing together, the light they add to the entire sculpture looks so cool on pikachu's face and reflecting in his shiny eyes. really cool!
I mean, not saying Adam is bad (he is really good and has only gotten better since the channel began), but even bad sculpting is better than no sculpting.

He has quite a few builds of other Pokemon, where he makes it look like they are coming out of their cards.. pretty much all of those are ridiculously good. He did one with Knuckles capturing Sonic, one of my personal favorites. I don't remember what movie/show it was from, but there was one of a dragon perched on top of a rock cliff - I was extremely impressed with that one. Honestly even this dude's worst video is still amazing though haha

I am truly admirative that after spreading his entire workshop with sully syntethic fur, Adam does that again, but with yellow cursed static grass, which is kinda much cooler. Amazing sculpture !

This is what Detective Pikachu should have looked like! So many of the Pokemon in that looked uncanny valley, as if the creators forgot they're supposed to be animals in that world
this is sick af. idk if this is helpful. but having a grain to the fur that gets added after the paint job would make the realism really pop. idek if thats even something possible. but if it is possible, it could bring your art to a whole nother level.

Pikachu is a pika to answer the description. In the name, kinda like the Raichu being a rabbit. Little almost-rabbits with rounded ears. They're super cute, but die in temps over 80°, so you can imagine with all this global warming stuff, they're not doing so great and are currently under 1,000. But still cute. They even sometimes have tan fur, making them look kinda like Pikachu. I just learned what they are, I'm really excited with this newfound information.

I think pikachu's face could be a little cuter if you wanted to be more accurate to its design (also the face is pretty rabbit-like) It's so cool I wish I had one in real life -sigh-
I've never tried a static grass box, but I imagine wearing rubber gloves could help with stopping the grass from attaching itself to you rather than the piece you're working on

I literally don’t give a sh!t about Pokémon. And yet, I still watched this, laughed at the jokes, and I was interested there entire time. That’s how you know you’re doing a good job.
A snarling rat wouldn't be "flashing it's fangs" like a wolf does (and as you have it here,) but showing their incisors since that's what they'd use as defense. With tooth anatomy, you gave the pikachu a set of very human looking teeth were as rodents have 2 sets of incisors and several sets of molars far back in their mouth. You'd wouldn't really see the molars except in extreme conditions. Regardless of that, it's still a very good. I like the way the fur turned out Edit: Grammar

Because fur fabric exists and that looks better (usually) and also *feels* better. It's a pain in the ass to work with faux fur though

A real-life Pikachu looks like an electricity shooting rabbit with a lightning bolt shaped tail, and I LOVE the cuteness.
