I understand having him look directly at the gingerbread man looks menacing, but could you imagine if he used his googly eyes to his advantage, and used it like a chameleon to look at the fleeing gingerbread cookie?
Since the fur fabric was so annoying to work with I think better way to make a furry creature would be to make wefts from acrylic yarn. You brush out strands of the yarn with a wire pet brush and then glue the fibres into wefts, which are easier to manipulate and stick down with glue than the fabric. It's a technique used often by doll customisers to make the dolls hair. You can straighten the wefts with a hair straighteners on low heat, and style the fibres easily with water and a toothbrush. Anyway, I thought this sculpture was weirdly cute aha 🍪
Ingenious using the gingerbread man from Shrek XD. I laughed so hard when you did this because usually you can't catch him. BTW noicely done on cookie monster I love how you did the fur as it make it look more like him. Yes you could added fur but what fun is that torture right? XD

For the fur, you could have carefully snipped at the clay with a pair of scissors. That creates a sort of reasonable fur texture and it's considerably faster than the individual wormy deelies method you used.
The fur looks phenomenal but was seriously the most convoluted way of doing it lol. Way easier to use the "gouge starting from the bottom and going up" technique.

Wow. I've been binging your work (just watched one for the first time this week and happened to be on a bunch of older stuff) and this has to be my favorite. The amount of detail is insane! And though it may take forever, that fur texture looks spectacular.
Hey Adam, great job on this, seriously. I just have one little pet peeve, and that's that the grout lines are just a bit too white. I think if you had gone over the tiles with a dark wash it would have meshed better. Everything else is fantastic though, I love the gingerbread men. Keep rockin' man
Whenever he started making the gingerbread man I like many others immediately realized it looked like the gingerbread man from Shrek. I highly doubt I will get the nod of approval but I'm still glad I (possibly) knew who it was.
To do that fur texture again, I'd imagine using a kind of sawtooth shaped piece of plastic, stabbing it into the clay in various places, and then bending each of the spikes in varying directions might be faster. (Not sure though)
I love that this just looks like regular cookie monster, but still manages to capture an unsettling story.

This is definitly one of my favourite sculptures I've seen you do so far. Also, at 4:41, poor Gingy.
This is sick, so much story telling in this diorama, I love it!
Thank you for making these tiny nerdy things. You have inspired me to make a sand seal from Breath of the Wild. So I wanted to thank you and keep up the good work
This is such a great work of art!!!
4:56 that’s gingy from shrek
Loved the storytelling ~ ( and laugh at the PTSD of the synthetic fur ^^" ) I thing I've seen too much of your videos as I thought Cookie Monster would have a set of cursed pointy teeth that would make my childhood die a little bit more :P ~ Well done, my good sir !
Frankly, the way he just gums his victims into a messy explosion was always more horrifying than the quick death promised by pointy teeth. Childhood nightmares confirmed!
@@ladygrndr9424 ahahahahahaha ok. Point there ~ no arguments :)
He showed the blue fur and i got flashbacks because i have the exact same fabric XD
Oh boy i wish this was a stop motion short film due to the amazing quality, am in love with this guys work
Freakin awesome 😂
I spent the whole vid giggling maniacally, enjoying myself immensely!
MOAR!!!
Oscar the grouch!
Bert and Ernie!
Omg Super Grover being held aloft…and being squished by Snuffleupagus 😂
Oh but Bert and Ernie need to be realistic
Y'know, seeing a non-textured Cookie Monster made me think of the show Trapdoor. I'd kinda want to see Adam make something from that show!
Yes! That would be amazing.
Oh my god YES
Making the fur out of little globs may have been time consuming but the end result looks great!
This is your best one yet! so much going on in one piece, could look at it from every angle for another story
Wow. I've been binging your work (just watched one for the first time this week and happened to be on a bunch of older stuff) and this has to be my favorite. The amount of detail is insane! And though it may take forever, that fur texture looks spectacular.
2:17 Well now you have blue stained hands
Hey Adam, great job on this, seriously. I just have one little pet peeve, and that's that the grout lines are just a bit too white. I think if you had gone over the tiles with a dark wash it would have meshed better. Everything else is fantastic though, I love the gingerbread men. Keep rockin' man
This was too good - I have no words!!! You are so talented!!
Everything about this was perfection!! Your attention to detail is fantastic.
8:13 that confused my brain so much!
This is my new favourite now. I like the way you do story telling.
This is awsome. The amount of work that goes into these videos is insane
