I remember when i use to need peace and time to think or get away from drama i wud go walk the whole trail along the river love the waterfall behind the hyatt,troll bridge,indian center,exploration place,but mostly the docks along the river where the pattle boats are at night if u go sit at the docks the stars look beautiful,Oh ya and i loved going to the walk ways above the highway at night ...really miss it their been 2 yrs now hope all is well their..
My father took me to Wichita kansas when i was 17 in 1989. at the beginning i was so sad i had to leave my home town. But it wasnt Long untill i started to make lots of friends and went to so many parties. i met so many cool people Boy! i had the time of my life in Wichita. Richard, Ken, Davie, Misty, Karen. and many others. Where are you guys? i still miss them
The dog is very well-trained. That snarl and growl may look vicious but all that Rottie is doing is expressing his discontent in getting his nails cut. He trust his owner enough to know that he is not out to hurt him!
Thanks for this very informative and inspiring video. I have never been to the US and currently I am considering where to start a first journey. Wichita seems a place where a visitor finds much to explore and your presentation motivates me to do this. Next I will look for comfortable accomodations. Of course I am also interested in further sights of Kansas State.

I've lived in MANY cities in this country, and there's ALWAYS someone like you "pooping" on each one. I have yet to live somewhere that doesn't have somebody like you putting it down. I've lived in cities most people think very highly of, and there still were people like you saying it sucked. Wichita isn't a bad town. No, it isn't as exciting as Vegas or New York or Hollywood. . .But neither are MOST cities in this country. Even when I lived in LA years ago, there were guys saying it wasn't good enough for them. So, your comment wasn't as clever as you think it was.

There is the Arcade which is a great place to play games and pinball. Plus ton of good food places.

The Keeper of the Plains is a good place to visit. It's right on the river (by Exploration Place), and has a fire display in the evenings.
