Thanks David-had problem with front brakes nor releasing due to the check valves were letting air threw the front glad hands causing problem-rebuilt all frontal check valves and found internal pucks were jammed open-rebuilt and all problems went away-Thanks again.
This is awesome information. Great video. Would you mind sharing the links on the video description ? The first one on the door handles I could not open.
Pressing the mode button does not engage 4 wheel drive, these trucks are full time 4x4 with a 70/30 power split in highway mode and 50/50 in off-road. The highway mode uses gears 2-7 with the option of using the down button to manually select 1st gear.
Standard mode is all-wheel drive. Hold the MODE button down for 3 seconds and it switches from all-wheel drive to 4-wheel drive (allison trans will use only 5 gears in 4-wheel drive mode).
, oh. I was seriously thinking about buying one of those Stewart Stevenson trucks like that but now after seeing your video and hearing all the things that you have had to say
Thanks for the exelent explanation. I would like to know what is the price of this vehicle and what about emisions, meaning cat it pass the emissions test ?
It's ok for a modern deuce and a half . But it will never be a M-35 a2 deuce. but the M-1078 is ok For a brush unit. but can't carry as much water as the M-35 a2. Thank you for all you guys do for rural communities in need.
Can you guys do a video on a M-923 or that style of five ton? I see you guys make alot from them still? Or one of them big Oshkosh R-11 tankers I saw you guys made a few tankers with that style truck! I am just a huge fan of the truck's you guy's make from dod surplus for the fire department 's in need!
