I remember how the 19 kids and counting did their laundry...I used to watch. They had what they called jurisdictions. Each able-bodied child/teen teamed up in twos and had household chores which they did together with smiles and a good attitude. Their parents were really great with teaching and encouraging them to help out and work together to get the job done!😊 I was truly impressed! These kids were anything but spoiled, and they gained valuable cooperation skills, bonding, a sense of contributing, value, and responsibility🙄 never mind what the media would like to do to "destroy" and tarnish them all...these folk were amazing , fun, and loving. Not perfect. Boy, the kids in families that are WAY smaller than theirs could learn a thing or two from the Duggars.
I learned to do s lot of the folding at the clothesline when clothes got dry. A lit of things had to be ironed back then. I still stand and fold at the dryer. Most things like socks, and underwear don't get folded any more. Just put in a drawer unfolded. It all gets put away quickly that way.
@@RealityCharm I'm very glad to hear that you plan to keep us up to date with the "Counting On" family. What happened in their family was very sad and yes serious, however, most families have experienced dynamics that they're not proud of... perhaps not as damaging as that of what Josh's alleged behavior has been. My point is that so many people have negative remarks about what the family does or how they handle themselves, yet they continue to watch the show. Why? So they can continue to complain? I think for the most part the immediate family have risen above the the 'rags' of reality TV by not involving themselves in the gossip and living their lives as loving and positive contributing members of society!
On 19 kids & counting Grandma Duggar was seen doing the laundry all the time in older episodes when Grandpa Duggar was alive. The laundry then got sorted in laundry room and everyone went there to get dressed every day. Not sure who did laundry after Grandma Duggar moved out.

The grandma did the laundry until she died last year . Now Jana and Joannah do it Michelle never does a thing . Jana needs to leave home . She should go and live in California with her sister Jinger ,until she is ready to get her own apartment.
As I remember it for most of the years just in Jessa and ginger did the laundry and Michelle then they were the three and they enlisted some of the little kids so they could learn how to do it but they were the three ones that did most of the laundry for the family which they had to do some everyday so as I remember it hope that helps so long shalom
I live in the laundry basket myself and I took care of the dishes thing by using paper plates the only thing in my dishwasher right now to be put away are my pots
Just FYI.. it is no longer necessary to be baptized in water! If we rightly dividing the word of Truth, we are still in the dispensation of Grace! Therefore when we become Born Again John 3;3 believing the Gospel message 1 Corinthians 15;1-4 ( the apostle Paul encouraged us to Believe in the FINISHED work of Christ at the Cross. And we are automatically baptized into the body of Christ, Ephesians4;5!!😇🙏👍

Late Grandma Dugger did the laundry at the big house.

Jinger and Grandma Duggar were in charge of the laundry room back in the day. Jinger also did all the packing for trips.

Has the show been canceled? I quit cable to save money lol….wonder if it was the Josh situation.
