Only issues im having are: - I get some freezing of about 1-3s and i die during that time - when i press ALT/Option key on my mac the jump is delayed - Is there a way to Keybind my skills to my mac buttons? If you could help that would be amazing! :D Never the less great vid works 100%
for everybody who isn't able to play but did everything right. go check if you got the good launcher, at first i could not connect to a server but then i downloaded the EU launcher and i could play the game just fine. ( im dutch so i need eu ) hope this fixxes your problems, please share this fix with more people :)
In response to the part where you were saying that you should always go back into regedit to make sure it haven't changed back. Just right click the folder with the regedit files in them and change the permission on all the users to only allow read. If you do that then it should basically not let maplestory change any of the values :) Change it to what you want it to be before changing the permissions however.
The path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Wizet > Maplestory. Then right click the Maplestory folder and click permissions. At the bottom, click advanced. Once that has been done you will see a list with the columns "Type", "Principal", "Access", etc etc. you want to have the type for all types of users to Deny and the Access should all be read only. If you are unable to edit them then remove them and add a new principal that mimics the previous one. And also you want "Inheritance" to remain on and each rule to apply to "This key and subkeys" :) It may sound like a lot of jibber jabber but it is easier than it seems.

Are the permissions reset as well? If you do it correctly then it should work just fine... At least it does for me :O
