I just noticed a scene where I am holding up a little spray bottle of alcohol with a big bottle next to it. I said, just keep refilling but I got the wrong bottle in this scene. That type of alcohol was actually PVA, a release agent. Don't spray that over your laminate! 😅
It depends on temperature but usually between 2 and 3 hours. I always make a little spot on the side where you can just stick your finger in to test without having to touch your actual work :).
The black basecoat is epoxy with pigment and also some extra fillers to make it a bit thicker and less runny (at least it is with this Resion version).
Depends what it is and how much work it would be. Right now I won't charge much yet as I would be more interested in making a video of it 🙂. Feel free to send me a private message.
@@caraddix I mask my parts with tape to cover anything I don’t want resin on. Even if it’s the underneath. I’m not sure I recall you masking in your video and definitely not for your final resin. Just kinda curious why. Everyone has there own technique.
@@cakesigro Ah yeah, I understand what you mean now. With some parts I mask (with plastic tape) but only to cover up important things like clips if they are close to where the resin can go. In this case, I always have to sand the edges again so it's not really any extra work for me to just remove the drips as well :).
@@caraddix Absulutly would be interested in a collab like this. Its a 2000 Mercedes E55. all the wood trim would need to be done. Check out some pics of this cars interior and let me know!
Amazing video! Well done.

Hello, what includes „basecoat“ ?
Is that a normally mixture between epoxy resin & hardner?

If I send you out my interior trimming how much would you charge to do that
