I agree. Conrad absolutely sucks, he drains the life out of JR. I think with a more excitable partner JR would get better questions and be much more better suited because I love listening to him
@@Stinson4ever1984I'll never understand why you would listen to a podcast hosted by someone you don't like, and then comment about how you don't like him. It makes no sense.
@@alexwheaton6723 because they like the interviewee, maybe? If you didnt like a talk show host but your favourite musician or film star was on their show, would you really ‘not’ watch it because of the host? What silly logic you applied there.
For what it’s worth, JR was 20x more loved, respected, and trusted by the boys than Johnny. JR was always a straight shooter with you. If you needed to improve at something to help you reach your potential, he’d tell it to you straight out. Johnny didn’t do that. Instead, Johnny would go and chirp in Vince’s ear and bury that talent behind their back. Thought he was a god-awful head of talent relations. And when it comes to comparing the two of them in recruiting? Good Lord! Johnny’s not even in the same stratosphere let alone the same ballpark, vs. Jim Ross in recruiting prowess!
I was about to be a typical TH-cam comment d*ck and sarcastically ask if you’d ever actually been in the wrestling business by thinking that you were a fan like me, then I saw your username and profile pic. 😂 Sorry Matt Great comment to read and add to the video, thank you!
Talent relations is seriously the most underappreciated job in all of wrestling. Babysitting a ton of egos while trying to please the big boss at the same time as well as having payroll done on time.
@@thealchemist69666He didn't say he was speaking from personal experience but if you listened to Eric and Bruce you would realize they all found managing talent to be an extremely difficult and thankless process
It really is and that's also why we got such a reaction when fully jumped off that cage Jr's first thoughts were how do you write a check to a Deadman well I guess two dead men
As a person who's done payroll, it's a headache by itself. To manage egos, booking, play by play and Vince too, that takes a lot of work, patience, and skill. God bless him.
I remember recommending this on Twitter. I would LOVE if JR could give his insight to what makes a good talent relations officer. What the job entails. What to look for when you are scouting talent and how to approach different scenarios (talent being let go etc). As an autistic man, I’ve learned a lot by just listening to JR and how he approaches certain situations and what direction to take. A clever man indeed.
I stay a hour away from greenville SC, I can't figure out if I wanna stay home relax with my dog watch Summerslam and AEW or make the trip to see collision
JR is such a good sport for handling these painful discussions about his experience in WWE. Be safe in Chicago, Conrad!

JR is a credit to our species. I’m happy he’s living his best life.
He definitely is a credit to humanity

Well they look spectacular at least because of Manscaped.
I didn't know this was a JR podcast, I thought this was an HR lecture series....
That drawing looks more like James Gandolphini than Jim Ross.
Never had the makings of a varsity athlete.
I'll never forget on a episode of Raw, Vince was acting like he was performing surgery on J.R. ass, i felt so bad for Jim
I stay a hour away from greenville SC, I can't figure out if I wanna stay home relax with my dog watch Summerslam and AEW or make the trip to see collision
didnt know jr was so close to going to TNA,
JR might be surprised by this but my wife uncles are Jack and Gerald Brisco! The Brisco Bros! Don’t worry though, I’m a Sooners fan.
Jr's looking good Conrad's got a nice tan I put the title on you
😆
Ah yes conman...a guy that looks like he very rarely shaves, tries to sell us various shaving products for 10 mins each episode x 7 podcasts a week.
If you’re watching this…Jr hired you!
Considering current events, JR got out just in time.
The thumbnail is what Jr thinks he looks like
So what did the dirt sheets say ?
Dixie carter was out of her element running TNA....amateur hour
Brent tell Jr and Danny if the money ain't going to be there. They better go get a job and help out
Or this grilling is going to be a hog roast
JR be coming across as too entitled
Try to give the podcast a go every few months. JR is so unlikeable, so often doesn't even answer the question asked.
He's a very angry, old man. The shows with Paul were hilarious.
Jim you are the best!!!
