- Glitch Techs is AMAZING! There is just no other way to describe it! In this video I'm reviewing the new Netflix original show by Nickelodeon Glitch Techs! As you might have guessed, I really really really love it. But why? That's what we're going to talk about in this video!

This show, is sort of concept of the CGI 2000's show, "Reboot" Where digitalized characters battle games to stop megabyte to destroy half of the city. Making the player lose many times and had to delete the games.
So this show should've theoretically been called "Black Busters", "Black Ghost Busters", or "Ghosts in Black". I like all of those titles-

Hector / High Five is not only mexican-american, looks like his grandma is chinese, and the grandparents truck is Taco Dragon, so Grandpa ( mexican) and Granny ( chinese)

@@juicebox7372 Fue una suposición basada en la información que percibí en la temporada 1, tuve que haber puesto Asiática y no China. pero al ver la temp.2 episodio "Ping", se ve que el FoodTruck vende tacos de Kimchi con Aguacate ( Comida de cultura mixta) . Así que aún pienso que la Abuela tiene ascendencia asiática. Además su actriz de voz es Jolene Kim. Esto no lo confirma, pero si me da puntos para poder imaginarlo, hasta que alguien del equipo creativo lo confirme solo es mi hipótesis.

La suposición de que la Abuela es asiática no sólo se debe a su apariencia si no que su actriz de doblaje es asiática ( y la serie a recalcado el hecho que los actores de voz reflejan la cultura de los personajes) y que la comida que venden en el Taco Dragon es comida mixta asiatica-mexicana

Martin Avilés I’m happy it’s getting more episodes! Also I like the chemistry Miko and Five have, I don’t know if I would see them as lovers but I wouldn’t be suprised if the creators wanted to do something like that at some point. However they are clearly very good buddies!
They allegedly kissed in ep Be my player two, but i didn't watch that episode so i don't know if it's true

This series is AMAZING!!! Miko is my favorite character! I really hope with enough fan support they can get another season!

I love this show, but i think that it need secundary character development, they have funny personalities , but they arent much interesting.
Gonzalo López Personally I’m happy with the way they are but I LOVE character development! I think the creators will do something like that in the future. But for the first season I think it’s safer to keep things a bit simple. Even though we did see some characters grow that aren’t part of the main cast.

I think the only problem I that there aren't more episodes, even with the nine episodes you can see lots of development in the characters already

Alexander Kale It doesn’t happen that often when I see characters like this that aren’t just stereotypes. I thought the Glitch Techs team did a great job on the characters and it was one of my favorite parts of the show.
@@AnotherMattLad Looking back, I phrased this really badly. My point was supposed to be, that the show writes really good characters, who just happen to be Asian/Muslim/Black/White, without making a massive deal out of them being part of some minority.
Then you come along - and make a massive deal out of it.
Alexander Kale I’m very sorry you feel that way. But once again because we don’t really often see characters like this portrayed in such a good way, I wanted to point this out since it’s one of the things that makes Glitch Techs so good! I wanted to congratulate the creators, so that part of the review took a bit longer and other parts. When talking about a show I like to discuss the characters, and it so happend that I thought these characters were written pretty darn well.
@@AnotherMattLad Yes, they are written pretty darn well. But you drew more attention to them being wrtitten well "despite" being of a certain minority, than to the reasons behind them being good characters.
In the grand scheme of things, the latter doesn't matter. We call out people who write cardboard cut out muslims/asians/eurasians, because they are bad.
Why call out creators of good characters, and not compliment them for making a good character. Rather, you congratulated them on making a good Asian character.The whole point is that belonging to a certain ethnicity is not a mark of quality, so it doesn't need to be mentioned in the same vein.
Alexander Kale I’m sorry I don’t know what to say. I thought they did a good job writing these characters without falling into any racist or descriminating clichés. I thought that was worth talking about and something that should be encouraged. I’m sorry you don’t feel the same way.

The company doesn't make the glitches. It's just the power source I think accidentally causing the glitch to come to life.

I will never understand why Nick doesn't want this show. It has actual quality unlike most of their shows.
I really love the companions that Miko and Five get. Ally is a joy to watch and clearly reflects Miko's personality in my opinion and I really want to see more of Alpha, he and Five seem to have amazing chemistry.
Idk if you knew this but Miko has ADHD, which explains her hyperactive personality and her inability to focus. As someone who has ADHD the tutorial episode and her episode of needing to focus more really hit close to home
