Considering the cost of a full exhaust system, that’s not much of an increase; you wouldn’t really notice it in real world driving! Sounds good though 👌🏻
I think it will be a bigger difference on a non M series car, with the F80 you're pretty much straight piped once the valves are open, only restrictions being downpipes. I felt no difference in power with the AA EL midpipe that deletes the resonators. The sound though 😍

I have an M340i as well with the only performance mod being a muffler delete. Would you guys be able to run a dyno on my car and play around with it to see the actual numbers? I’m in northern New Jersey (Bergen county).
Engine is breathing better with the right exhaust. Simple. Probably the best result you will have when removing all exhaust all together (no exhaust restriction).
Exhaust will make power IF there isn’t a particulate filter. The real issue is not whether or not exhaust makes more power, but rather is it worth the cost? Most B58 exhaust systems run $2500 to over $4K 😮 All that money for only 10-30 HP? Getting a bigger turbo is a far better investment at that price point.
The most common things people do to the BMW like this you should know, haha. Just kidding but would Be nice to see stock versus boot mod stage 1 versus boot mod stage 2 with catless downpipe. And then catless downpipe versus catted down pipe and then stock versus bootmont stage 1 E30 etc... with stage 2. I personally wouldn't run the exhaust with catless dp on this kind of car cuz it's just too loud and obnoxious.
Wtf this car is spec as 382 hp to the crank and 369 torgue from the factory.. If this is dyno at 362 whp and 385 torgue.. So basically this car is 400hp out from the factory...
most of these shops use dynojets which I find to be way too generous. Mustang dyno numbers are the real numbers. Of course the realest number of them all is the quarter mile time coupled with the trap speed.
Every mod should be tested like this!

Test every mod on the dyno

Im on pure800 turbo and a downpipe still stock exhaust outside of those 2 lol maybe i should get one 🤔

Are the baseline runs done on the same day as the modded runs? if not, the numbers are a bit hard to trust due to differing atmospheric conditions.
It would be such a minor difference it doesn’t matter. Half a hp at most.
