I want to throw in a suggestion, an option for time progression, you can start in say the 70s we’re only equipment of the time is available, and as you play more modern equipment becomes available, maybe even the shop, production facilities and sell points also update over time. A second one would be to have other farmers visible working their fields, so you can look out and see harvesters working while you do yours, it would make it feel like a more lived in environment.
I've heard Giants say that their vision for the game is to eventually have a massive 'world' where farming is just one of the things to do, others being construction, mining, demolition, commercial, retail, logistics, etc. It does seem like every release they get futher away from farming. Luckily, with Giants incremental approach to releases, they'll reach that goal by FS'55.
HI:-) Hire harvest. if you don`t have equipment you shuld be able to hire a contractor to harvest your crops. So when you start a farm and don`t have money for a desent harvester you stil can plant a big crop.
Same for other field activities (and even animal activities) the ability to hire in a worker to feed animals or work a field and they don't have to use your equipment.
Modhub updates: the in-game downloader is pretty ok.... BUT the screen where you turn mods on/off before loading a game. THAT needs improvement. If you have hundreds of mods downloaded, you have to scroll through manually to turn on/off. Can't sort or search.
A big want for me is customizable UI. I want to hide and/or sort the ESC menu pages and have a sort option in the building/production/store menus. If I don't own any productions, let me hide that window. same with the settings/tutorial pages and the animals. I want to hide/show those as needed.
When crop dusters came up, what came to mind was the videos that I have seen about drone crop dusters. It would be nice to be able to have drones spray the fields. You would be able to set up the path lay out for each field, have a landing station that need to be supplied with batteries and herbicide.
Build your own grain bin set up. You can make it so you have a dryer or not. Or if you don’t want a scale they you don’t have to have one. Kind of like the bga with pumps and hoses. Just with grain bin setups. Still having the ones that you can place by themselves though. Also some kind of irrigation system that could come in different forms, like center pivot and flood stuff like that. And John Deere and fendt planters, seeders and mower. Not necessarily just those but more or the implements from those big brands. Compaction if you have a semi parked in the side of your field. You can measure the compaction on your map and use a ripper or some kind of deep tillage to get rid of it. If you have very heavy compaction then you crop yields will suffer. Different types of tires will affect your level of compaction. So it will give a good reason other than they look cool to put tracks in you tractor or combine.
My main thing I would like to see is actual tire physics on different surfaces. On the road every vehicle slides around like it’s on ice. Tires don’t spin or lock up under hard braking, etc.
Better vehicle handling overall. If this game had handling similar to what ATS/ETS has it would be so much better. I know its way harder to implement given the variety of vehicles but if that was the only thing a FS 25 had I would be happy
Sheds need to have a purpose. Keeping equipment indoors should reduce the wear and damage. If you keep your stuff outside, then the wear and damage increases.
With the Oxbo brand the specialized crop lost is huge. Sweet corn pickers is top of my lost for a new crop/equipment plus green peas green beans are also crops harvested by an oxbo machine
Great videos! I really enjoyed hearing what everyone is hoping for in the next FS. Just a couple of thoughts I had, like an irrigation or pivot system is the need for a more detailed weather system. So maybe the lack of rain for instance would stunt growth but you could add a water irrigation system to help. And as far as buildings you can walk into it's simply just about the immersion.
A game that I've found that does difficulty settings well is 7 Days to Die. There is a general "difficulty" but also a list of 10-20 adjustable options that can greatly affect the gameplay.
On a simpler level I would like all old and newer paint able textures on all maps, no slot Count and no production/ animal limit, able to relocate placed items instead of deleting and replacing.. also having some animal barns under production to monitor food intake(not a must would be nice)
Nice to want, but when you buy too much equipment (slot limits) or too many animals... When your console runs out of ram memory (which is not upgradeable like a pc)... I'm on ps5. The game would stutter/crash w/o those limits. So how do you get around that? Or do you want your game to crash constantly? 😂
Options for saving: manual, prompt-to-save (at a chosen interval a pop asks if you’d like to save. Could be an any-time pop up or only when you open the menu.), and true auto-save
I think the biggest thing with mods, is not so much the modhub, but the lack of a mod manager - give me the ability to set up a core list of mods, that I generally want to include in most of my playthroughs. Allow me to update mods, but freeze them in a game save - it works now, but I upgrade the mod and things stop working, it's frustrating. More uses for horses: Amish Farming Simulator?! 😁 maybe oxen too!
Better base game maps, actual seasons, crop rotation, crop moisture, bale rotting, grass drying in the sun, weather damage, pests, grazing, manure system, mucking out animal barns, no productions, germination, no rollercoaster, maizeplus, precision farming, irrigation, more in depth cover crops, planting flowers like terralife is going to do, veterinary, gps, etc etc… Seasons was almost perfect in FS19. Giants only had to copy that but no, they gave us this seasons for dummies… Wanna plant outside the planting time? You can’t. Dry grass in the sun? You can’t. Make sure your bales are inside before they rot? No, you don’t have to. Check crop moisture before harvesting? No need for it. Plowing when the soil is frozen? No problem, just do it? Make sure you have the correct crop rotation? Also, no need for it. 😂
@@jaygatsby5013Giants added a rollercoaster to one of their maps. It’s non farming crap, they should focus on making it a farming simulator as the title suggests.
Crop duster I feel could fly in from off map, be at a fixed height, and would have a set amount of hours it can be used before it needs refueled/resupply. Even if it's not player controlled. You call it in (IE call of duty carpet bomb) and fertilizes/herbarize a set amount of area per pass. To Balance the crop duster it would have t be expensive but be worth the cost/time.
My rough wishlist for the next Farm Sim game includes: - Crop Dusters - Round Fields for Pivots - Mechanics/Repair gameplay like Car Mechanic Sim - Contracts transporting Machines and Harvested Crops & Bails - Friends in Multiplayer and Hire you for Contracts - Multiplayer different Farms can Sell, Buy, & Help each other - Improved light vehicle stability in Cars, Pickup Trucks, ATVs & Side by Sides - Historical DLC, Old Tractors, Equipment, & Working Animals. This DLC could be a different rating if Working Animals doesn't comply with E for Everyone - Ultra Realistic gameplay would add Perpuss to the game - Amish DLC, Use Animals for Work, Use Hands, Basic Tools, & More - Improvement to Graphics & Terrain Textures is a Must
Loved the list. I would like to see some contracts where you harvest or bale and take the output back to the farmer's farm rather than a sell point. And yes, row crops and fenced pastures.
being from the west side of oregon, id like grass harvesting and that would add to swathing crops before harvesting and using that pickup header for em. We are almost exclusively grass seed and clover over here, along with some wheat but like 85% grass seed crops.
Irrigation could be simply having a calculation of size of acreage and crop type, require X number of wells heads. Once those wells are drilled, then your field will get the base yield. If you do not irrigate, you can still farm, but the yield is less and if a drought hits, the crops can be wiped out.
New orchard types, we have olives and grapes right now. Add nuts and fruit trees along with the equipment that is used for them. Peanuts would even be a nice add on for fields. I would like to see all sizes of equipment for this. I enjoy starting small and growing my farm. This would add to the game play and would be a nice change from the high price equipment that is needed to grow and harvest the crops.
Theirs a couple things for me 1. Would love AI go around the field rather than straight lines 2. Traction differences, like semis in the field would struggle ex… 3. Module pastures 4. Down time for machines/ unexpected broken parts (upgrade the maintenance repair of equipment) 5. More permanent settings for your save like an unrealistic, classic, ultra realistic. 6. More contracts like plowing snow ex… 7. Older equipment options 8. Bigger maps 9. permanently hire someone to look after things like my animals, green houses, packing my bunkers 10. A production’s map in the menu so it’s easier to see what makes what
I would like to see: 01. Rose Plantation (Planting, grafting, cultivating) 02. Drone spraying 03. Historic - (start in 1800 with a horse and plow and add equpiment over the years like in Transport Fever)
Realistic farming setting would be: 1. Buy used equipment and it breaks down immediately, repair costs more than it’s worth. 2. Spend $1k/acre on crop inputs and then it doesn’t rain that season. 3. Market price randomly drops below profitability right at harvest. 4. Input costs then skyrocket while market prices remain low. 5. Midseason pests and disease wipe out half your crop. 6. It THEN rains all harvest and you’re forced to mud up your field to get the harvest off. You pay for it next spring with rock hard soil. Now that I think of it, realistic would make for one very depressing game experience!
I'd like to see new crops as Fruit and Nut trees with associated equipment. And Multi-Monitor support so I use one of my other monitors for a map view or rear view etc.
Another thought would be crop drying and it would affect the price you got from selling it. I know that there is a mod for a corn dryer, but it would be nice to see other crops have it. In rain we see that it reduces the yield of the crop, but change it to have a decreased price on sell but have the same yield on the field.
I would love to have super strength on consoles, so I can actual do roleplay, like picking up a push mower and putting it in the back of my truck, instead of actually getting in the mower itself, and the ability to remove or add money when I have to change a tire it takes money away or i get through push mowing and i can give myself 100 dollars for completing it
I can't help you with the super strength issue but I can with the ability to add/remove money. Play on multiplayer. You can create several farms and transfer money around like that. You can name each farm as a business or individual, grant permissions, ect... I know it's not a straight forward, easy way of a money system like pc has but it's still doable.
They should make a collab function for multiplayer, what i mean is that even doe your friends own diffrent equipment and diffrent farm types, they could collab with your farm to use some of your stuff or fields
I expected since Farming 22 that they maybe would change the graphics engine, the lightening, gameplay. Have more interacción with another farmers (AI) on the map, be able to rent equipment from them, or even you rent them stuffs. Be able to move your animals from one place to another. More animation into the forest ( bugs, wild boars , rabbits ) . I think even a section like career would be nice where you start from scratch and we keep accomplish thinks
AI working other farms would be cool to see. Having tractors pulling trailers, baling in other fields, or spraying. Harvesters working fields. Something to add a little more live to the maps.
Vintage farming...let's have vintage Farmalls and Deeres, or even better draft horses and oxen. Yeah, we can do a lot of it with mods, but having even model years included base game and required for mods, and the option to USE our livestock for farming instead of just products would be great. Maybe even have specific maps for it with vintage traffic/pedestrians?
Seed dealers where you buy certain seed for a certain field and it is delivered to the farm. I will be accurate to a certain level where you have extra amount left over where you can store and use for next year or have to go to town to pick up say a pallet or 10 bags to finish a field. As accurate to seed rates for different seed types
The lack of sorting options on modhub sucks. I would like to see options like top downloaded, highest rated, last updated etc. Maybe an option where creators can opt in and users can download the same mods the creator uses. Being able to sort those options by day/week/month.
Ability on a server to run a coop where you buy harvested crops from the farmers and resell to production chains and buy and deliver seed, lime, fertilizer, herbicide, and other animal production inputs
Not a bad list. Modders are always going to be vital. The Animal extension mods fixed the base game animals. Same thing with silage extension mod and others. I think about the only thing missing would be some realism things, like weather impact. Such as frost damage, moisture-laden damage, wind damage, hail damage, drought, and field fire. Pest and animal damage and control is another for realism. Grass not being green in the winter of a cold climate. I think that is now changed since some DLC a while back. Some North American old iron for base game start up, but Modders usually deliver that quickly. Not sure why Gleaner is left out of harvesters though. Since they got rights to AGCO, maybe some launch day Allis Charmers LOL. I tease, I'm just hoping that Modders keep up the great work in the future. FS 22 was really a great base game at launch in my opinion. As long as we have modders, than will be okay. If the modders go away, than I'm just going to play the last two; FS 19 and FS 22, because the mods made the gaming experience wonderful.
I would like to see them update the in cab view on the equipment in the field. Who has corn that is higher than a X9 combine cab? Or the header that raises up so high that you cant see? Only other thing I can think of is going to be the difference between console and pc as to what happens. A lot of what would be nice can only be done on pc. Myself, I cant drive a straight line in any field without GPS. Maybe somehow a preview of the production so you know what you need. And do something with alfalfa. I havent figured out how to feed it to cows or sheep. Wont work in TMR, either factory or mixer. Most barns dont accept it as grass, hay, or silage. Haylofts wont accept it. Needs to be more widely accepted as a feed rather than just a selling crop. It is widely used in Midwest that way.
I would Love to see some equipment/map linked 'themes'; as in pre-1970s, pre-2000, current; as well as US thene, Euro theme, eastern Europe theme, thinking available equipment/brands, ect, as well same the buildings. A farm in 1980 Georgia shouldn't look/feel/have same equipment as 2024 France or Brazil. I would like to see a 'Classic' mode, where your limited to pre-2000 equipment on the entire map. Sure, you can add mods, but its weird to be using your Old machines, and do a contract with the most modern stuff. You can download a Massey 165, and a few attachments, but it doesn't work well with the entire map. Maybe add corn pickers that attach to the tractors, more small/medium/primitive set ups.
Communal Contracts: accepting contract of moving grass entire summer on x ammount of km .. or pre drawn routes .. same for snow plows .. or dirt road gradings .. or tree clearing from storms .. which means we need weather .. farmers greatest adversary ... which is currently non existent by my standards.
Show the following somewhere other than the help window: spreader/sprayer width, bale size, tip side, steering, horse riding %, silage bunker volume and I’ve possibly missed some.
Unexpected breakdowns! Older vehicles could have more problems or like after so many hours / miles you need to do a oil change. I also think that natural disasters like floods or droughts. Crops get destroyed because of that
I have two requests. Number 1 would have to be multiplayer, they need to make multiplayer playable for people because right now it’s really bad. Number 2 would have to be the software, they need a new software like unreal engine
I really hope that they will release a Collector's Edition, which will include the console version of the new game. There are many players that will buy the Collector's Edition, but unfortunately, they released it just for PC till now.
This is one of my MAJOR things... There HAS to be a map that is TRUCK friendly and not just the small European trucks no i mean large BIG American trucks.
@@davidvanmol5199 if it was on console I would. But it's PC only and when I go PC I'm going to get one that can handle ATS, what ever the next farming simulator is, iracing, and more. But for farming the roads aren't wide enough. I live in a farming area and our roads are wider than most of the maps
If Giants isn't going to let us butcher the animals, they should introduce farmers fairs that we can enter the animals into so they can at least win a ribbon for quality. If they introduce animal babies and husbandry, the ribbon winning bull, steer, etc. could get an 'insemination' bonus. Teach them kids about the bees. 😂
I don't know how modhub works on PC but on console when you want to download a map some maps need additional mods to play. Which is fine don't mind but if there's a mod you may not like or the list is just crazy long you can't back out and cancel the download. So you stuck downloading a map and mods you don't really want. I'd like to see that changed.
I hope they add plants like coffee, rice or lavender. They can add Renault or FiatAgri. Add a new made up brand (Like Lizard). And add cars and pick ups from reel brands. And mounted sprayers. O, wat about workers that kan deliver your products.
@@kcINTIMIDATOR Sorry I forgot about that. I dont know why I just forgot about that the second I wrote that. That is so embarrassing. Thanks for pointing it out.

Spot on Klutch! Thanks!
I would like VR and built in telemetry so I can hook it up to my motion simulator and bounce my way to happiness while plowing my fields.
Must have: Make the view render distance circle less noticeable.
I’ve seen irrigation pivots that they could pump water or slurry through.
You can add fertilizer or herbicides; never seen one that ran slurry
I would love to see rice as a farmable crop and the ability to do orchards, fruit, and nut trees.
For horses they could also do horse drawn equipment for the start from scratch farmers
Really enjoying these Sunday. Videos and ranks.. You can do mods. You can do maps. Really like these. Thanks for the contact.
Great job. No complaints
More realism , manual hitch connect ,first person camera movement when turning in tractors
Was teaching my kid to place an he got out an tried to attach the hitch like real life an it made me want that lol
Higher block limit on console
How nice would it be if there were some unfinished buildings and roads that would be completed/finished the more hours you play on a map.
Unlimited mod storage space like on pc and more space for farm equipment and implements for bigger farms and flatter lands
I want to see more of the Fruit and veggie from California and tomatoes
Show the following somewhere other than the help window: spreader/sprayer width, bale size, tip side, steering, horse riding %, silage bunker volume and I’ve possibly missed some.
I think that you should be able to adjust working width like in the updated colossus harvester
You know im really hoping that Giants are watching your videos and taking notes.
I really want cropdusting you could slow down the vehicle’s to make it a bit easier but if not possible at least better spraying
Unexpected breakdowns! Older vehicles could have more problems or like after so many hours / miles you need to do a oil change.
I also think that natural disasters like floods or droughts. Crops get destroyed because of that
I would like to see an airport to give it more of a better experience for crop dusting
Definitely wanna see peanuts added to the game and branded vehicles for console
I have two requests.
Number 1 would have to be multiplayer, they need to make multiplayer playable for people because right now it’s really bad.
Number 2 would have to be the software, they need a new software like unreal engine
I really hope that they will release a Collector's Edition, which will include the console version of the new game.
There are many players that will buy the Collector's Edition, but unfortunately, they released it just for PC till now.
My prediction is that Giants will reveal FS25 at PAX East (Mar, 21-24).
We need more Aussie things other then mods because I'm Australian
Land auctions you would have to set up a time for the auction and you don’t control what price it sells for it is random
And 4x to 16x size maps based game on 25 klutch
I would like to see a way to store your things & buildings so you can change the map layout
Better mod support for mod makers
I would like to see new eqiupment like case million$ tractors and deere combines or any manufactors
What about wildfires, or lightning strikes, tornados, a better system for bales to be sold, crops that get diseases, better ai
I think we are on the same page with where and what direction the game should go. I still want anhydrous base game that's my deal
In real life liquid fertilizer injection with the water is used a lot
I really enjoyed this video and i find it very useful and would like to see more similar videos
under productions would like to see the AI farmers sell crops to your production
Yes
This is one of my MAJOR things... There HAS to be a map that is TRUCK friendly and not just the small European trucks no i mean large BIG American trucks.
Go play ATS 😉
@@davidvanmol5199 if it was on console I would. But it's PC only and when I go PC I'm going to get one that can handle ATS, what ever the next farming simulator is, iracing, and more. But for farming the roads aren't wide enough. I live in a farming area and our roads are wider than most of the maps
@@davidvanmol5199 irregardless most of the roads in my farm town are all wider than most of the base game roads.
Only roads in base game 22 wider than my farm town are elm creeks interstate and main road from the shop over to the starting point.
Kluch simulator Keep up the good work.
I would eventually like to be able to snuff out an engine because of insufficient power.
The dog should reduce predation on live stock.
Hello, how do you write the name of the game correctly on pictures that you take while playing? Thank you
Amending soil to get better base yields overtime.
I would like a search option in the mod screen when loading a game.
I will like to see in farming simulator next game is 4xmaps for all platforms
I don't know how modhub works on PC but on console when you want to download a map some maps need additional mods to play. Which is fine don't mind but if there's a mod you may not like or the list is just crazy long you can't back out and cancel the download. So you stuck downloading a map and mods you don't really want. I'd like to see that changed.
I hope they add plants like coffee, rice or lavender. They can add Renault or FiatAgri. Add a new made up brand (Like Lizard). And add cars and pick ups from reel brands. And mounted sprayers. O, wat about workers that kan deliver your products.
Ummmmm, it doesn't always work correctly but you already can have workers deliver your crops to sales points or silos in 22...
Or are you trolling?
@@kcINTIMIDATOR Sorry I forgot about that. I dont know why I just forgot about that the second I wrote that. That is so embarrassing. Thanks for pointing it out.
@@Chris_Farmer191no worries, it shows promise when someone can admit they're wrong or made a mistake, happens to us all!
The AI certainly needs improvement and getting it to work correctly is NOT an easy task for a programmer, some people think it's easy but they have no idea what they are talking about.
I also want the other things you mentioned.
