love it! I've been crocheting since I was 7 years old. 34 now. With my deep love for crochet I don't prefer the " look" of typical crochet. Usually on the look out for stitches that don't "look" like crochet. Anyone else feel this way? This is so 😍 gorgeous!

Such a lovely stitch! Because it makes a "thicker" fabric, it's great for winter baby blankets, and other wearables. It's also great if you are making lapghans for elderly that might be suffering from alzheimers or other cognitive loss because the texture of it give them comfort to run their hands over. Anyone that's made "fidget blankets" will understand what I'm referring to. I've also found that blankets with a repeated texture give comfort to some children that are AD/HD or even some forms of autism. Thank you so much, Crystal... I'm definitely adding this one to my saved "Crochet Stitches" playlist. 💜

I must compliment you on your teaching technique! You thoroughly explain & show each step, leaving no doubt how the stitches are made & where they are placed. I must admit that I skirted around your channel in the beginning, because I wasn't interested in the yarn give-aways & the shopping trips; but I am mesmerized by your instructions. I am glad to say that now I am a faithful follower of your channel!! 😊💟

@@Fortnitegodclixjrwayne Friend, take good care of yourself and try to limit your "screentime". You don't want to feel like a zombie 😬 one day and have huge headache the next day. Start slow, one day at a time. Soon things will get back to normal. Setting limits for yourself will help you reach your goal. Good Luck 😊🙏🏼✌️

    Hi Crystal
I love the ombré purple colour way you used for this stitch…if I used maybe .5mm or 1mm larger in hook size would it make the stitches less stiff or will it ruin the FO? I agree with whomever made the comment about it being a good stitch for a beanie.
Do you have a tutorial explaining the stitch multiples? If not would you consider making a tutorial 😊 I’d love to learn all about how the stitches work together etc. Yes I’m sure I could find it in a book 📖 but I think I learn better when I have visual, someone showing it.
Take care and stay safe and well. God bless 🙏🏼💗😊🧶
