If I hadn't read the comments; I would have assumed it was a murder suicide.
Because on more than one occasion in Reach I have blown my own head off with the sniper Because of bullet ricochet. I also had to note that it was a assassination and headshot kill; so I initially was wondering if you headshot yourself but because it passed through his body, the game counted it as a kill by him.
