===Description=== Time Crisis is a first-person on-rails light gun shooter series of arcade video games by Namco, introduced in 1995. It is focused on the exploits of a fictional international intelligence agency who assigns its best agents to deal with a major threat by a hostile organisation, which has ranged from criminals, terrorists, to hostile military outfits, and mostly take place within fictional locations across the world. The arcade series differed from other light gun shooters of its time by incorporating unique mechanics, including the ability to duck into cover to dodge attacks and reload the player's weapon, and forcing players to complete battles in each level within an allotted amount of time. Over time, the series developed to incorporate additional features of gameplay, including two-player co-operative modes on arcade machines, the ability to use additional weapons in combat, and dealing with dangerous events. Alongside arcade machines, the series was also developed for consoles, beginning with a port of the first installment to PlayStation consoles in 1995, with all ported versions of arcade titles featuring additional content and game mechanics, such as additional stages, and different difficulty modes. Alongside the main games in the series, it has spawned a number of spin-off titles that incorporate the cover mechanics and time limit gameplay elements, but with notable differences in combat situations and organisations involved in each game's story. ---From Wikipedia For more information on this game and to read what I found doing this TAS, click on the description section above. Loved your TAS of this game, Prog. Brought back many memories of me playing this at the local arcade when I was a lot younger. Was always trying to consistently beat the game in one credit, and managed to do so a few times. Also loved that Richard had to have been carrying 177 magazines for the 1057 rounds of ammo he expended. Must not have been easy lugging around all that lead.
Epilepsy Warning! Aaahh! I forgot how these old light guns looked for specific flashes of light. Your eyes must have been weary watching this TAS recording to make sure everything came in alright. Thanks for not skipping the dumb cutscenes BTW.
On the submarine section, what is the reason for shooting the blue guy up top? Does that save time by spawning less at the bottom? I've seen that done on a few runs.
I'm not sure that changes anything. Since it's a TAS, I just shoot anything that moves. I am not an expert at this game. Everything I know is written in the description section.
Well done, you shaved almost a minute off your last TAS in this game. Do you plan to do the other Time Crisis games? There are 4 more main ones I think.
