“We don’t. There’s no fun here.” He’s such a gem.
Val Kilmer basically epitomises the peak of 80s cool look. Plus, such a humble cool guy in life as well. Good things for you Val.
Agreed, except back in the 80s, I was in my 30s so I remember the era well, I don't recall any guys having their hair " bleach tipped" for lack of better words as people do today. His haircut was also unique compared to the regular 80s look as I remember.
@@daffidavit Okay, well I was born 81 and I always think of Iceman when I think of the 80s. It's a biased personal thing I suppose. A cool mofo either way!
@@daffidavit True. His hairstyle got popular in the 90s. He was ahead of his time :))
He was not the most humble person during his prime. It is known fact - which he has admitted - that he was difficult person to work with.
He was sex on legs, I fancied him so much back in the 80's..... 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
“The tree is more attractive that you” I literally love him sm
he's hilarious
I’m so glad he was included in Top Gun: Maverick. The scene between him and Tom Cruise was beautiful.
I really enjoyed it too!
I feel so sad for Val for what happened to him. No one deserves it. I hope he is making peace with himself and his life. He’s left a pretty amazing legacy of film so good work accomplished. Not all of us can say that!
What caused his disease?
@@2hedz77 cancer of the throat
He sounds awful but he definitely feeling terrific
@@2hedz77 too many coffin nails
thank for your love and support I hope you're doing great?
His natural personality is very sarcastic and deadpan, but Ice is so serious, he does a great job
Yeah, he kind of reminded me of Harrison Ford in this interview
@@michaelkrolewski7406 man Harrison from the 80s interviews is so different
That's how he flies, Ice cold, no mistakes, make one wrong move and he's gotcha.
Val was rocking the frosted spike to perfection!! Live the best life while you can folks, you never know what's going to happen next. I hope Val is comfortable and getting the best care possible.
Adventure before dementia (or cancer!)
Val Kilmer is such a sweet man.🥰💯I wish him all the best during the terrible disease. 🙏🙏🙏
He is such a great guy and I love Val so very much always. God Bless him ❤️🙏🏻
@@ashe984 Sweet man? Great Guy? There was the story that Kilmer burned a member of the crew with a cigarette on the set of ``Island. '' (He denies this). There was the story that, while filming an action movie, he took a baseball bat and trashed an automobile as a shocked crew watched.
After seeing Top Gun Maverick, there is no doubt Iceman is the coolest pilot.
Yes the coolest!
ice cool
Yeah cause Maverick is beyond the scale 😎
@@monero892 no mistakes
They didn't really do a good job replacing his character. Someone both extremely hot but straight-cut and plays by the rules. Maybe hangman was supposed to be a little like that but he is not the same in the looks department.
Very powerful scene with Val in "Maverick" --- he can still bring the acting chops without even saying a word!
What ? It’s an embarrassing cameo
@@knownpleasures lol
Amber heard would have been amazing in this film
@@knownpleasures nothing embarrassing about it
I cried ...
"I don't know. I'm not an audience." - Val Kilmer, 1986
2:30 Val: It's not the military it's the polyester
journalist: It seems you guys have a lot of fun
Val, dead serious: we don't, there is no fun here' 😂🤣 lmao he has a great sense of humor, hilarious!
Chris Knight (Real Genius) popped out...
0:43 Okaaaayyy….pretty scary stuff
-“I don’t know.😀”
He’s so cool😂
That part was so funny
He looks like such a relaxed and chilled character. No wonder they called him Iceman
He was trolling that reporter to march 20.
He is a true treasure but out of all things he will probably be most remembered for is that he undoubtedly LOVES HIS CHILDREN!
I watched his documentary and it brought tears to my eyes for this reason alone. It was beautiful to see how much he cares about them
Tom cruise's scene with ice man was pretty emotional.
They have paid a fitting tribute to Val Kilmer's character
hes so adorable ..like a little chipmunk on coffee ..unhinged and completely honest and cool..witty and soft spoken.. i want all of your Val archive @entertainmenttonight ! more Val please !!!
UP
Three of my favorite movies are with Kilmer...Top Gun, Heat and The Saint. Amazing actor.
@@2hedz77 He was also excellent in Felon.
Val's such a great guy and is very beautiful love him so much always. 🥰❤️🙏🏻
Lol...its not the Military..its the Polyester..lol. He is so LAID BACK. He is so VERY likeable.
No Top Gun without Iceman!
Iceman is in the new one....
You know, even though Tom Cruise is the star, and he was fantastic, I think Val Kilmer as Iceman was the most magnetic. I love every scene he's in.
@@hanhanlon4441 Agree
@@hanhanlon4441 💯👍🏽..,loved seeing him again in the 2nd movie.
Ice's voice 😭
Great actor, wish all the best for him
He was still in character, dope!
So handsome look at his smile🎉❤
i adore this man
Val was so handsome in his prime
1:00 he is the admiral now 😂
Best actor in the world in his prime. The man was superb. Careers complete now. Should be very proud. He was my favourite actor for many years.
Val is HOT!!!!! Bless him on recovering from his illness, his heart is gold!!!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I know that's why I love Val so much cause of how kind he is.
"was" hot"
@@celiasjoblom1795 still is....throat cancer or not. Was....does not apply here. That's your opinion. Keep it there.
Val and Tom in the 80s are so FREAKING CUTE🥰🫶
After Goose died, Iceman became Maverick's best friend.
I truly appreciate & applaud Val's resilience in the face of some pretty difficult times. It's also great to see him continue to master his craft in spite of it all. Val's list of incredible accomplishments during his career are plenty to keep generations to come with real entertainment to watch.
God speed Val 🙏⚘
"I don't know. I'm not an audience"- Val Kilmer
Omg Val is such a great guy and I love him so very much always. Val is such a true hero and legend. God Bless him ❤️🙏🏻
OMGosh! He was soooo good looking!!! 🔥
IKR he makes my heart 💗
Yes VERY good looking in Top Gun as well as Tombstone!
"I'd get him kids books on how to fly... how to fly a plane" - so that's how Tom Cruise learned to fly! 😂
Val Kilmer is so over this interview 🤣🤣🤣
LOL! TRUE :D
I've never seen wrestling terminology used in a non-wrestling post lol.
Stupid questions from the interviewer. I am sure he just wanted to walk away from her.
He's like, ok let go home now haha
@Bujaxx i know you’re not being serious
I love Val kilmer. Two legend, Val and Tom in TOP GUN.
Iceman is a LEGEND
We watched it as a family at a drive in in Australia. lightening was going on in the distant skies it was fantastic
My son watched the first Top Gun before we headed out to see Maverick. He said "Gees... they did look young... and clean."
Be sure to remind him, if he's lucky, he'll get old too!
Love his acting...His acting brings intense in character..
Tom Cruise was older than me when I saw this first movie, today watching the second movie he's younger than me😂
You and me both ...
I used to call him ‘Iceman’ instead of Val Kilmer.
It’s all because of the first Top Gun movie😅
Val was a Real One...
アイスマン大好きやわ〜。
インタビュー受けてるだけで可愛らしいです😊
私は日本人なので侍のことを言ってくれているのをすごく嬉しく感じます。
Thank you Val Kilmer ❤️
I saw original Top Gun, Loved it and never watched again, because I don't re-watch movies, especially decades later. Well over 35 yrs plus Val got throat cancer which affected his voice. So Top Gun 2.0 could be a stinker? No. They used that extra year or two to make it better. I LOVED IT. MOST OF ALL I LOVE Val was in movie. His roll was perfect. GREAT. *It would not be Top Gun without Val, ICEMAN, Val i'd be your Wing Man any time.*
i love this man SO much
They pretty much showed the entire movie in this interview lol.
Lol seriously. Or at least all of Val's parts
Thank you for coming back to it Val
True legend
Oh my god... I can't believe it was 34 years ago... I was a little kid back then .. .. 80s was the Best.
Sending you prayers and good vibes, Val, I'm only now discovering what an awesome man you are.
You all guys are sooo amazing! Thank you for the pleasure! You got it! X
Nick Rivers will always be My favorite Kilmer, but he is just such a great actor in general and has had so so many great roles, Ice being one of them
Iceman... OH how I used to try to get my hair like yours back then. Sadly though I never could quite pull if off.. :(
He's such a talented performer. It's hard to choose his best, there ALL equally as good BUT for me personally, I like him as Jim Morrison "The Doors". He IS Jim Morrison in that movie.😎🙂
Yes! And he looks just like him!!!
He was Excellent in " The Salton Sea "
Tombstone anyone???
@@FootageFactory Yes.
One of these F18 flew over Lake Tahoe when I was out in the boat-coolest experience for sure!
He’s so adorable 🥰
😍😍 Iceman
Looking good Val. You did a great job in Top Gun: Maverick
Almost thought it was Chris Hemsworth at 5:45
The epitome of coolness.
"the trees are more attractive than you." Damn son😂
This is interesting. Val is Iceman. They have the same swagger. :)
That was great to watch
Val was key to Top Gun
Got that nice smile Del Kilmer
some great lessons from Val on acting
I'm still trying to figure out how Iceman keeps his Hair stiff as weeds after he takes his Flight Helmet off 😂👀🙊🙉🙈😏😎😉🤘🤗🤠🤑🙃🤔🙄💪✨🌟💫🔥💥😍😲😐😬
It was called "Gel" and we all used it back then...
@@lancer525 Yes I know it well . But still a heavy Flight helmet would smash those weeds flat lol.
80s movies &music was good I was high-school grade when this movie came
This movie made me want to be an Air Force pilot as a kid.
Same, turned out I'm today in a technician school in the air force instead of a pilot.
His best performance will always be Moses from Prince Of Egypt(1998)
No Chris in Heat in 1995
LOL nice troll. 😅
Doc Holiday
Eye contact!! Classical training does that I suppose! Seems like he has interview technique down perfectly.
I heard that the real Navy pilots favorite of all the TopGun pilots was Iceman coz they just loved his hair.
This is what getting a professional haircut twice a week is like
I think He’s the only one ( who plays a villain ) that all women who had seen top Gun - - - wanted to be with ( he’s soo gorgeous )
You can't speak for all women, only for yourself.
@@tagabulodchastityobedience7292 What a shitty thing to say
@@virgo_things what part that upset you
@@tagabulodchastityobedience7292 The dehumanization of "fat" and "ugly" women was completely unnecessary to make the point you were making. Unattractive people can and still do find conventionally attractive people attractive. What you said was ignorant and uncalled for. Grow up.
Agreed!!!
How gorgeous he was!!! 😍😍😍
Uh, the coolest Iceman! Val is awesome
He was and still the sexiest man ever❤
I think he was the very best looking in Top Gun and Tombstone.
OMG yes
god, val didnt strike me as someone so soft spoken! at first sight you would think he would be louder, but nope! he was so soft spoken.. kinda cute!
Honestly as audience, I don't know what it is about planes either. I just always loved civil & modern military aviation. Have a huge thing for warbirds, warships/battle cruisers/etc, aircraft carriers too. My mom's the same way and did want to become an air force pilot, but they weren't accepting women at the time.
Kilmer Top Gun movie = Iceman
Kilmer Top Gun interview = Chris Knight
Lol 👍🏻
귀한 자료ㅜㅜ 땡큐♡
Had he not gotten ill Val would’ve rocked Hollywood with his talent
Umm he did. But he kinda fell off before he got sick.
dude, he has big for awhile, unfortunately, he got blacklisted for being hard to get along with on sets, shame, he's an incredibly talented man
We iceman fan💕
Aww I love him I hope he be ok
Hella good, actor ❤❤, , so glad, he is doing. Better , sending you love 😘
この人も素敵、何か普段は穏やかな感じがしますね。
LOL, he came across as warm as ICE!
Val Kilmer is what I looked like in my in my military ID in the eighties. Except brown hair.
Val Kilmer is good in every character he plays in movies I like him in Batman for ever my favorite movie
Ice Man is the coolest guy in this film.
Iceman was the best pilot. Ice cold, never made mistakes. Maverick on the other hand had the natural talent....or whatever, it is only fiction, however...
Iceman is a cool dude.
Cold as Ice!
I really felt like an ugly kid after seeing Top Gun when I was 15 back in 1986.
One cool dude. Ice Man.
"it's not the military, it's the polyester"
I like your acting on Top Gun Val Kilmer
