I remember Ross tweeting that he can’t visualize stuff well in his head and it’s so interesting seeing Ross’s interpretations for the ones he remembers. It’s also very funny seeing him draw the ones he doesn’t know at all.
He can't visualize at all, (Aphantasia) so he more remembers instructions to draw or features.

I think he was trying to be funny given how bad he was about to be. Like oh no here comes more bad art. I don't think he was actually complaining. It'd also hard to have good commentary for a long stream when all you can really add is "idk what this is oh no"

Juny blows me away with the detail and shading in their art. So much detail in a short amount of time, but I love all the different art styles and funny drawings everyone makes. These videos always leave me laughing and smiling afterwards.
This one was especially challenging, I wasn't aware of how bad my memory was until this game LMAO.

It's a weird thing to have because like obviously you still remember what things look like so it's so hard to explain to people who don't have it how you know.
The issue comes from minor details usually if you can see something you can say oh this parts wrong it's gotta be smaller here curved here or whatever. But since he can't see it he can't make those visual based adjustments until it's drawn and he can see it. While everyone else can basically do that before drawing.
I think the hardest thing is color at least for me because when "normal" people imagine stuff they also see the color right?
@@teinili idk what's most common theirs a cool chart with a star example full color is only like 1 of 6 options faded color is another 2 the other 4 are not colored but that doesn't mean color isn't the main.

Idea for a future gartic episode
Themed normal mode: name, rank and intention. Where you state an original characters name rank/title, and intention.
For example, the prompt is "bobathon, destroyer of curtains, a quiet life for once"
But once its drawn someone had to give that character a new name, rank and intention that they think suits them like "YipYap, lone wanderer, flirting with everything that moves"
I feel like this has potential to be really funny if it isn't too confusing

The art style isn't what people would call beautiful (although I would) and yet it tells an ethereally interesting story that has its fanbase. Even if you don't think your art is good in a visual sense that is usually not what matters in the end. What matters is the passion and dedication or vision behind it.

Out of all the amazing art and nostalgia, the thing that I was most taken aback from was the fact there is a young person on the internet that is worried whether or not something is appropriate from them to watch.

I love when Ross realized that he had forgotten what Yumi Niki was and started freaking out when he realized that he absolutely did know it. Especially when he started justifying his forgetfulness and you just hear "maybe you don't pay enough attention to your girlfriend."

In all seriousness, I've been there before, and it always feels shitty when you realize that you were thinking of entirely the wrong thing the whole time, and it is something super important to someone close to you.

Here's an idea for a fun game. Use the icebreaker mode and have people come up with character descriptions. Everyone else has to make designs based on those descriptions!

I just wanna comment my love for this whole series.
Each and every video have been really enjoyable and interesting to watch as a viewer and a learning artist. I love how you put a lot of effort and fun into your works and they've inspired me to take up art in general. They're also helpful for when I'm feeling bummed out and whatnot, so seeing the positivity in these videos are a huge help for me mentally.
Thank you Ross, along with the many amazing artists and animators who continue to make this amazing content for such a really good series!

Aphantasia often seems like such a nonexistent thing, because it doesn't seem to affect artists too bad. Then you do this game, and it really highlights it. I love it.
I would probably do just as bad as Ross, but I have an _extremely_ vivid imagination. I just have no hand-brain coordination when drawing.

I actually think this is really interesting to see what visual landmarks people gravitated towards when they knew the character but couldn't remember the details.
If I could do this, I would do it with an obscure character from a spin-off game, like do ‘funky from pac-man’ and see how many people fail to draw a green ghost because they don’t know them

@@lotus_flower2001 Well because he's not even 18 yet. I wasn't doing jack before I was 18. I was doing art but certianly not on that level. The guy just has a ton of dedication and I marvel at that, very proud of him.
I forgot about the varied results you can get in gartic phone. This absolutely doesn’t disappoint.
I love that I have a visual and textual mind, I can see 3D objects in my head, while also reciting large plaques of text, but I can only draw faces (cartoon ones) and other drawing fail horribly!

@@nullvoid3545 well a long time ago someone had made ship art a of Twilight sparkle from my little pony and Mordecai from regular show in ms paint , singing the song airplanes. It had recently gotten a lot of popularity because meme culture does that. It’s whenever someone sees twilight sparkle or Mordecai (or even the color purple and blue ) they automatically associate it with the meme. Hopefully this helps and I hope you have a wonderful day.

They somehow took his character and dragged it through the mud in every place but the supports. Also, three houses is my favorite, but your opinion is valid, too.
