We just had to ground all of our medevac helicopters in the county as well because they have equipment on board that is inoperable
I work on a dual service ambulance with a private EMS company. Im also in the medical side of things, so generally i got no clue lol. For 911, we receive traffic over digital channels from a regional communications center. However, we heard nothing from our regional comms center until about 1am, when they landlined our supervisor as to why none of our units were responding to radio traffic. Not sure what's going on over there or any of their systems for radios but the comms center uses the same digital system that our CAD uses, so when our CAD went out, so did the comms center. For our IF traffic, we receive that directly to our CAD's after the sending hospital sends out something to our company dispatch by some program on a standard computer. The hospital side and our companies receiving side both went down. As for FD/PD, we've had to call their individual stations to get them to respond to incidents, not sure what systems they use. I'm just a paramedic, got no clue how everything works but that's what I know. For about the last 6 hours, our dispatch system for 911 through regional comms and radios came back, still no CAD or IF traffic from our company dispatch

The Ludacris idea of agile and we can always push a fix just got proven wrong.
