Paras finn the pipes that you see on the organ are usually just there for the show, the real pipes are built into the walls of the church, and there can be like 30 000 of them.
The organ is not an instrument!...it is a living organ ! It breeths...it is using oxygen...it speaks .it sings It tell us storys...it is my father and mother at the same time...🤗
I love that they added the sonnet that accompanied the piece. All four of them have sonnets, maybe written by Vivaldi. The sonnets tell the "story" the music provides the emotion.
Mr. Scott shows again his talent for disappearing into the music. It is as if the music is performing itself without a physical cause. His tempos are always adjusted perfectly for the hall. Video and audio, as always, satisfying. Thanks!

I play organ to for now almost 9 years amd the feeling when you play full like he did is unbelievable when you play it you have chills everywhere and i think more people should play it because its the best instrument to play!!!!
Never thought that this piece would need something more added to it but, got to tell; the annotations in between passages are KEY to get into the groove
And also by age. (The oldest instrument to exist is probably the recorder, going back before written history, but apart from it,) The pipe organ has existed for thousands of years !

Most people only know the first piece of Spring, and the last piece of Summer, but for me, Autumn and Winter have always been my favourites!
I think the first part of Winter is at least as well known as the last part of Summer.
