I’ve watched a few yozuri pro guys “how to use the twitch bait” and literally all 3 different videos did not actually tell you how to use your rod and reel with it! Thank you very much for making this video, it was very helpful for me
Thank you. After a couple of days looking for a good video on how to use a twitch bait, I found your channel. I especially like the underwater swimming pool view for reference.
Hi Jack: Glad it helped, it might look easy but doing a how to video for something with a subtle presentation can be tough. Glad it helped and I would love to hear how many fish you start catching on Twitch Baits. If you haven't subscribed I would appreciate if you did, we have lots of new fishing video and more how to's coming. Once again thanks for the kind words. Capt Eric...
Thanks again for your hard work. I'll let you know this coming season how the twitch baits work out. In my area right now, it's more of a type of fishing similar to crappie fishing (surf perch) and big spotfin croaker fishing using clams, similar to black drum. I've only discovered twitch baits a couple of weeks ago. So, I still have to purchase a couple to maybe a few. My plan is to use them for pelagics and shortfin corvina (equivalent to sea trout) from next spring to fall.
Hi George - Thanks for the kind comment. We have lots more video like this coming in the next few weeks. Please take the time to subscribe to our channel and don't forget to click the notifications bell. Thanks again and looking forward to chatting with you in the future. Capt Eric...
Thanks so much for the kind words. In twenty years of guiding clients I get lots of practice trying to explain how to fish a lure so that they can actually catch something. Watch the how to skip video, I swear I mentioned that the skipping sound is a trigger for fish to strike, but somehow I never did (DOH) I had to pin the info in the comments. Capt Eric...
Hey Cap, what size YoZu twitch is that in your video? I have the 3 1/2" that the fish (inshore) bang on but don't hook up. Are the stock hooks too big? I also have the 2 3/4" with stock hooks and i hook up all day! Should i go smaller hooks on the 3 1/2"//
No I just change the hooks to a smaller size. Bait comes with size 2 and I change them to Size 4 then the bait suspends much better. Thanks for the great comment and you will want to subscribe we have some awesome new content coming soon. Capt Eric...
We do largemouth bass in private lakes with a 2 person NuCanoe Kayak. Our Peacock bass charters we take in our boats and the fishing is great thru the end of October or until we get the first real cold front. Check out our wesite at whatahawg.com for complete info. Thanks Capt Eric...
Good chance gloves may do more harm to the slime than a wet hand. I always try to handle them as little as possible especially when our Redfish numbers are still very low from the Red tide event we had from Oct 2017 till Apr 2019.

Yes go down 1 size if they aren’t committing
Nice tutorial! Do you like to rig any weights to the line?

@@Lake2SeaOutdoors thanks for that info staying tuned stay safe
Would bass hit this?
why dont you use gloves to hold the fish ?

these fishes fight a lot and because of their weight they are so heavy
Both those observations are true! Good Luck Fishing
Capt Eric...
How are twitch bait different from jerk bait? Twitch bait are not intended for jerks! 😂
Perfect! :)
please dont harm fishes ... they are so innocent
That fish was totally un-harmed and we practice 100% catch and release, a fish is to valuable to catch only one time.
