I need to subscribe to this channel. To play this concert has always been my dream. Thank you Pablo. You are handsome, talented and an awesome person. You are going to make my dream come true... I am almost 50 but i do not care to start from zero again.. God bless you. Adriana Noboa.
For me, this guy is the best cellist I've ever seen, and I watch a lot of them on TH-cam. Pablo plays masterfully, and I've lost count of how many times I've listened to his version of Tchaikovsky. It's wonderful, it seems like Tchaikovsky composed it for Pablo to play lol
Thank you very much! I think i speak for a lot of cellists when i say we'd appreciate if you could continue with the other variations please! It's a big inspiration and information! Gracias!
Thanks for sharing all your critical thoughts, very informative 😁 looking forward to hearing you next week for the first time! Regards From a fellow cellist of Ireland’s NSO
I was really feeling bad about my entonation and i am a beginner, really thank you for being this honest and showing your mistakes. It really motivated me thank you
Nothing short of amazing. Such perfect technique and feel. I’m inspired to practice more every time I hear you play. I need to play less guitar and more cello.
Pablo, you are awesome! Not only a magnicifent (yet humble!) cellist but also very kind and generous in sharing your knowledge! This was another great video! Thank you for making these 😊
I am so grateful for you taking the time- I assure you- your pearls are not being cast before swine! I learn so much by watching you and this written commentary is extremely effective and helpful. You are so admired and loved! Thank you for your generosity. Blessings.
Thank you for this series, it motivates me and shows me that your ear and musical instinct is the best guide in a practice session. The subtitles are a bit fast for me as a foreigner, maybe you could keep them on screen for a tiny bit longer? I am excited to see more! Wish you the best!
i just watch the video hitting the space bar, which pauses the video and I can stop it and read the text, and then back up, know what is to come and then see what he's doing. hope that helps!
For the same reason I like Russian and other composers from Eastern Europe too.. As a cellist, your repertoire says a lot about you plus once your repertoire gets into your blood it's all you wanna do, plus there's only so many hours in the day...lol Everything is muscle memory at one point that involves at least 2 to 3 hours of practice a day with breaks and a meal... The other point is depending on the composer there's only so many pieces to choose from that's why Bach gets boring after a while unless you can attach an experience you had to it and relive it everytime on stage. For Pablo it's probabaly Dvorak, for me its Rachmaninoff and some Debussy... I would have responded in Spanish to your comment but I type faster in English.... lol
You should show us how you practice after starting a brand new piece.
I love this series. Can’t wait to see more!

Thanks for this video! I worked on this piece for 2+ years - it's so deceivingly difficult!!
This is so enjoyable. I've only had 6 months of lessons, but love watching these. I can't wait for more (as your schedule allows)
Thank you so much Pablo, this is super insightful. Can you maybe try to make an open practice video of you practicing your scales? Thank you!

are you gonna do more videos of talking cello? love that :)
Definitely! Few coming soon
@@pabloferrandez amazing, I cant wait :)
I'm dying to know how you make your fourth finger vibrato work. Mine just doesn't and I've been actively messing with it for a year now.
Veo que usas el cordal Wittner?Te da un sonido más brillante?
Was it upbow staccato or upbow spicatto for the first variation? I saw the bow go off the string for the upbow staccato but idk
That awkward moment when you might be the only flutist here who watches all of Pablo's videos ._. lol #noregrets
what rosin do you use pablo i can see if gives a direct and clear sound what is the name of it
Dvorak please 🙏🙏🙏
That's benadel rosin?
