God this makes that scene in Enterprising Engines when the Fat Controller reveals to Gordon that all of his siblings except for Flying Scotsman were scrapped hit SO damn hard. @@BiscuitCrewProductions Thanks for confirming this Biscuit! At least Gordon still has a family on Sodor as well as Flying Scotsman. That scene was definitely one of the most heartbreaking in the books.
Holy hell, the line "I don't have any direct siblings, Gordon. A half built boiler that's rusting away in an engine shed somewhere, maybe." It's so dark, I love it! It really shows that Henry doesn't have much or even a family at all being a stolen design & built in another works that is probably a empty warehouse now. It really does bring the story out of the water!
this was a wonderful story i think finding out that Gordon had no idea Henry was his brother and when he just finds out try's to prove himself and then when he brakes down confesses to Henry how he truly feels about the other railway is a huge stepping stone for both the big engines. I think its a great episode.
Wow. The dynamic nature of using such a serious and emotionally driven conversation with only a dark shed for a background really emphasised the tone and attitude of the scene, making it so much more than just 2 characters talking.
"It's a painful reminder of how little control we have." That hit hard. I love how existential this video is and how it utilises Gordon and Henry. Henry acknowledging that the past doesn't define him, and how Gordon's underlying stress does a number on him once he realises his family is in true danger and he's helpless to stop it. It's very well put together and I love it! Hope you'll continue to make these sort of videos. It's an interesting commentary on the world around us, conveyed through these characters we hold near and dear.
The cinematography here is excellent. My favorite shots are the ones of Gordon and Henry through the catwalk railings when Gordon says that the railway “keeps them in”, looking in at them as if they’re behind bars, and by contrast that final shot of them both through a window. I keep coming back to this video. I love it.
This is one of the best Trainz videos I've seen. It just feels raw, it feels good. It feels like they're people, they're not one note, they're still the same but you can tell that they're them. I'm no good at words but they.. I don't know. I love this story.
magnificent. That's all I can say, is magnificent. Extremely touching, well shot, written and paced. I hope you'll continue making shorter form stories for fun, or just to keep the channel active. It's a very nice little corner, full of expertly made material as well as gourmet shitposting.
That's a great story! I always see Gordon and Henry's relationship like brothers, but they are different. When we saw Henry for the first time he was built as a Gresley locomotive before the rebuilt and that tackles it perfectly that Henry and Gordon are really brothers.
That story really builds to the arc of Gordon and Henry. It also explains just how determined and tough of a journey Henry has been through to still here and really put himself in Gordon's shoes
The stares from the engines at the beginning is even funnier when you realize Gordon was probably talking about his job for a good hour by that point 😂
Wow!This was sooo good!I loved the relationship dynamic between Gordon and Henry in this, and it was so in character for Gordon to misinterpret what Henry said as a attack on him and his siblings,it makes it sense why he acted that way towards him,and it makes him more of a relatable character in this instead of rejecting him for no reason. I loved how supportive Henry was in this as well, very in character for him in my opinion.
That was great. The Henry and Gordon talking about Henry’s designer has never been done better. The voice acting and visuals really stood out to me. Great job.
This honestly was very emotional and in depth for a Thomas and Friends story, exploring more with the fact that Henry was a failed experimental engine, who's design originated from stolen plans drawn by Sir Nigel Gresely. It also explores that Gordon, despite being prideful with his heritage, is trying, in his own way, to help the preservation of his LNER family. While they are are from somewhat different origins, they have become a family themselves. After seeing blackraptorex2469's post, I really think Biscuit Cat Productions should remake Enterprising Engines, as Tender Engines paints Henry as a jealous individual of Flying Scotsman's double tenders, which would in some way counter Henry's character here. Flawless work Biscuit Cat Productions. Well done.
to me this feels a lot like an edition to the "fan made" story "Worth it" where instead of sir tophamm hatt making henry feel good, its Henry that makes Gordon feel good
I like these deeper, thoughtful stories from the community, always fascinating to watch. Reminds me of a recent one i've seen with Topham talking to Henry post Kipper crash.
Holy shit this was good. In my opinion this is the best video you have ever made IMO. The cinematography, the line delivery, and the mental processing that gorded went threw where peak. Pleases keep up with this fanominal work.
I believe that in the thomas universe, brothers are engines of the same class, henry and gordon aren't the same design, same maker, but henry is not an A1, now they would be cousins, just like the A1's/A3's are cousing of the A4's

I saw this video a while back and kept wondering how Gordon was unable to stop his wheels and finally put it together. Blue Peter's crew must have been so confused and scared when that happened.
