Honestly, I'm just really surprised at the fact that Mayuyu's part was man-made! I had thought that he just sang Turing Love with a robotic voice effects or something. Also, let's please not pressure Mayuyu to sing and let him go at his own pace. I'll still support him no matter what content he provides (as long as it doesn't violate my own set of boundaries/self rules...?)
No pressure Mayuyu, just do it when you're ready.
I hope he does someday though, would love to hear him sing any songs or Turing Love with Uiha xD
a long time ago i think i came across fan-made MVs where they turned Mayuzumi’s audio into a voicebank, much like an UTAU, making him “sing” too but never expected to see him officially try that route.. they did an impressive job mixing Uiha’s cheery human tones with “Mayu’s” colder robotic ones! it’s sweet that he could fulfill her request in his own way too, thanks for translating ^^
I honestly thought it was really cool! Like, as if mayu the character created a robot version of himself to sing, or/and it suits his hacker personality!

It's really a surprise when he did man-made voice, but I know that the moment I saw the announcement of it, something just doesn't feel right. But I try to keep positive about it.
Despite all that, I still continue to wish that he will sang on his own someday in the future.
Hearing their cover of Turing Love reminded me so much of the "Human voicaloid" (it was actually using UTAU iirc) Utada singing Kokoro Kiseki, it was 2011, Utada just announced retirement/hiatus.

I've always thought Mayu has a good voice for voice acting rather than ever imagining him singing, especially after watching those Christmas videos with Ono Yuuki and even the Uno video with Eguchi Takuya where they made all sorts of voices, plus he seems to have a smooth calm voice I could listen to him read anything
(Am I the only one who finds Mayuzumi's speaking voice really calming? His cadence too, how slowly and carefully he says things. This clip made me really sleepy 😅)

Aww so nice that uiha waited for mayuyu to do the duet even if took a while! And also wow making it from already existing clips!! I guess in the end he never said he would 100% never sing - so who knows what the future will bring

Tbh Mayu and singing have never crossed my mind. I've never thought he'd do it, neither do I expect him to do it. This isn't hololive, not everyone needs to sing. But it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless.
