I really enjoyed making this video! Covering my artistic creative process when designing monsters and creatures is something I love to do. Hope you guys enjoy the video! ^_^
Expect a similar video covering the Great Rat's design pretty soon.

That sculpture is so beautiful, I feel inspired as a person who does ceramics. I also agree that her coloring like this is better than just making her completely "ugly" and covered in boils and whatnot because I feel it'd make it more cliche looking.

I'm currently doing a Sculpting course through Udemy (shameless plug) and I'm using polymer clay. Yes it is quite a bit more expensive than air drying clay but the joy of it is that it doesn't dry out, you have to cook it in an oven. You can have sizable breaks between each modeling session, which is great if you have painful hands like me.

The hound looks so tortured and pained, it feels like it has been the victim of circumstance, and I want to hold it close and comfort it, show it nothing but warmth and kindness... Sometimes I wonder what that says about me, that I feel drawn to certain creatures that somewhat repulse others... Especially the "living skeleton" type creatures like the hound....

But in all seriousness, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your work and passion here on TH-cam. I’m just starting write and when I create monsters for these worlds I created, I look back to your videos. I know that writing and drawing/sculpting/animating are VERY different but your videos have helped me a lot. The video of making your freak is one I look at everyday because of how much that video helped me in designing my own creatures and your mother of nature helped me in creating my own God of Nature who is terrible, and destructive but also kind and nurturing. In a sense, you’ve helped bring my own kind of “Merry Madness” into the world in ways I couldn’t even think I could do. Again, Thank you (even though you might not see this)

Thank you for sharing. Your sculptures are a huge inspiration point for me, especially this one. I can't stress this enough but I love anatomy, how muscles are structured and connect to the bones. I used to hate this sort of thing, skulls especially, they freaked me out but my twisted curiosity deadened my sensitivity to it all.

You're a man that's truly dedicated to his craft, I don't know if I would be able to do such things but you certainly inspire me as an artist and fellow creator. Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see Merry Madness 2!! :D

I just really have to mention how amazing your sketchbook looks. It literally looks like you printed this whole thing! It's so neat and clean in an organized chaos kinda way. The blocked out sketches on the toned paper are absolutely stunning and I've just been wondering how you get those toned bits in there. Do you cut it bits and pieces and stick 'em in your book? And also, your handwriting is awesome. Just had to drop that.
This video was super chill and it was fun watching you kinda freak out about seeing the t-rex. Your excitement for your art really shows here. You're amazing and an incredible inspiration.

I love the designs of the hound(noticed the Tasmanian tiger stripes) the purples and whites really give her this magical and horrific yet beautiful aperance mabey one day she will come out again and bring the Rats stories to life again. Also yes I think anyone of us would having a small panic attack seeing a real skeleton of what once was the ultimate predator that ruled unchallenged up until the meteor.
