Well, yea that was pretty much the main conflict of the first and arguably second Patapon games. Army of adorable eyeballs marching to the end of the earth! Don't let those evil Zigotons stand in our way! Except the reasons why the Zigotons are fighting you to begin with is because they're trying to defend their homes from this band of rampaging marauders that's destroying their kingdom.

1:06 Oh my heart, the way that harmony sways and swoops is just superb! The way the female vocalist's voice is so sweet yet energetic and how the Cobun sound so excited it's just so magnificent
I gotta appreciate how the Cobun lyrics are basically the main melody of the song and all adapt to what the previous command was, meaning that every single measure of every stage song in this game is going to have a ton of different variations. THATS dedication.

The original patapon soundtrack to me felt like both tribal and childlike, in a good way, but Ratatans soundtrack feels like they extracted the childlike aspect of the soundtrack and mainly went with that, wich i didnt know i needed until i heard it. Im in love with this soundtrack and cant wait for the full game.

Yeah I want to hear more "regional songs" like the Ole Ole Ole Theme from Patapon 1 or more aggressive songs like Bibirich's Theme and Gyoro Gyoro's Theme from Patapon 1

I just found out this game today, I played patapon 1 when i was around 12, im 26 now and as soon as i heard the music, the singing, and everything it brought a tear to my eye thinking i get to enjoy a master piece made by the same Patapon devs. I can't wait to grind my life away at this beautiful project to revive Patapon like games :'). Honestly Thank you for starting this, My nostalgia and my inner child are so excited about this!
This combines literally the best things about Patapon and LocoRoco and god it shows. I hope you guys release a few more songs of the OST early because I literally cannot stop listening to these.
This is amazing! I just found about Patapon recently and to stumble upon it’s spiritual successor just in time for me to pick it up in the future is amazing. I can’t wait to be able to enjoy this with old fans and new when it comes. I wish y’all the best of luck with this project!

Certainly love the music. It has a very lively and cartooney vibe. Though this could just be for the first levels, which makes sense. Patapon 3 had a very rock sounding soundtrack, but that was also due to the fact that you have only 4, yet very badass, patapons in your group. Even though they are called ratatons and patapons, I wonder if this game is going to have some sort of relation to its predecessor. Like, is it going to connect to the patapon timeline somehow?
