We were at The Anchor Inn a couple of weeks ago - twice. Once on the way out and also on the way back (we hired from Gailey). Food is absolutely gorgeous!
So funny watching this in New Zealand as we still.have these rules when going out to pubs, shops etc. I cant wait to be back in the UK cruising the canals
The Anchor at Cross Green was a very convenient overnight eatery/stop back in the late 70's when I first cruised the S & W. Been back in two or three times on subsequent cruises. I seem to recall that the bank then was solid concrete slabs, subject to quite a bit of movement making a somewhat uneven & irregular walkway.
The S&W was the very first canal I travelled on in 1972. We hired a boat from a company in Great Haywood and travelled down through Stourport onto the River Seven and back again. Your video brought back so many wonderful memories. The filming and commentary were excellent. Thanks Robbie. Pub of The Week? - I think this is going to get more difficult to find as time goes on.
I couldn't believe how narrow that canal was! Very fortunate not to have another boater coming the other way. Nice Pub...Meh, I don't know. Seemed like you were quickly shown the nice inside and quickly escorted to the back patio. Unless you asked to go there it seemed a bit off. Maybe I'm reading more into what I saw. Anyway, I wish you well on your journey. Love from The US, Cheers

The public is under the delusion COVID will be going away shortly, but the truth is elites plan on thrusting the scamdemic on us for years to come until average people are financially ruined and oligarchs control all the wealth. The CARES Act was the largest transfer of wealth to the rich IN HUMAN HISTORY, and still the public sees no red flags, that's how conditioned we've become to be blindly compliant as you say. I’m sure you could make/purchase a fold away bar for your boat Robbie?
Dress as a bartender 🤔 and have your ‘Pull out, Pub Mooring of the weeeeeeek Yeah!”
We could share some banter have a little sup and take in your, Pull out Pub mooring view...
Keep on cranking buddy
You’ll like the next vlog I think 😉
Guinness? Guiness? It's a decent enough bevy, but think of all the local craft beers, real ale, the Right Stuff you passed by! Tragedy! Bet you there were several other stouts that weren't made in a mega factory near Dublin.
Was a bit rushed to be honest
@@RobbieCumming Just joshing ya. Its almost like they didnt want your custom.
You weren't going to spend 30 quid so out the door you go. Same in states, bartenders size you up, put you where you'll do the least damage.
Fish n'chips of the week? 🤔
nice pub, shame about our lockdown tho! that would have bn a perfect pub of the week... ah well ☹️😷
Aah so no sign = 14 day mooring.
Robbie, whatever happened to your cockney lady-friend with the dog? Atb 👍

Brilliant! I appreciate you taking the time Robbie. Thank you and take care.
Is it me or is the audio out of sync?
glad you made a comment, thought it was just me.
Tom, Bob - how are you guys listening to the audio? Through bluetooth speakers? Is it a certain section of the video or the whole thing?
@@RobbieCumming Hi Robbie, sorry to be picky but as an editor I picked up on it. All the pieces to camera are out of sync, all the way thru' by about 8 frames. I'm watching it on a Toshiba laptop with in-built speakers; all other videos play fine.
No more Pub of the Week eh : Ok What about "Gosh that used to be a good Pub that One" 🤔 Just trying to be helpful ? 😊
Thanks Mike it’s ok we’ll find a way around it!
Muzzle up and get back in your box, that's what the oligarchs want, and the public is blindly compliant and unquestioning, sadly.
It's disturbing to know better and watch this all play out.
@@MiamiVisor Yes, disturbing, sad, and downright pathetic.
No worries Biden promised to get rid of covid! Hurray!
Ahh jolly good!
Yeah UK becomes police state
