They can’t take full advantage of the current consoles, let alone a “Pro” version. I barely use my PS5 now, let alone paying over $1000 AU, for a Pro version of it. Don’t get me wrong, love all the PS consoles, but other than GT7, there’s little of interest there for me, so this will be an easy pass.
Another over priced console from Sony. I used to be a huge sony fan until the fiasco from the ps4, very hard to get hold of one and the prices going crazy during covid over here in Australia. Sony became too money greedy, especially with their DLC. Since I swapped to PC I never looked back, even exclusivity like FF7 remake etc.. eventually get ported to PC. This is just an expensive console that won't deliver much, paying 1k AUD to play FIFA? Hard pass!
I totally understand you it’s definitely pricey and it’s more of a want and not a need. Sticking with pc or a base ps5 is definitely just as good. I plan on playing 3rd party games on pc and first party games in PS5 pro
The ps5 pro specs event is tomorrow there’s no confirmed state of play yet but I assume it will be in the coming weeks to get more hype for the PS5 Pro
