“You love humanity, this the curse you bear as a usurper” this was the hardest and most meaningful line that Scylla said to Remus.. this line will be forever live in my mind rent free.
The very first world quest that made me and still makes me bawl JUST based on the music bro, I can't with this angelic ass music every. single. time. I can't hold back from just wanting to sob and have tears run down my face when I did the quest AND when I watched Arnold play this quest on his twitch channel and went back to watch the vod and now on youtube, it's crazy how far we've come both in Genshin and Arnold's playthrough series, keep at it chief, you're doing amazing! As well as the editors!! This world quest is one of the many reasons why Fontaine is my favorite region still, we gotta wait for 5.3 to see if that changes. But if aesthetic, music and overall emotions are taken into consideration, Fontaine is my number 1 region, made me cry more than any tv show, game or anime could've have and I'll never forget it. Thanks for coming to my TED talk! Whoever reads this - you are awesome ;)
The ending was one of the most beautiful things this game has ever given us, and it really made me love this quest even more. Sadly, like most world quests, not many will be able to enjoy it simply because they won't finish the world quest. If only these quests were voiced too, then maybe others may be motivated to actually do these.
It might be just me but the similarity of remus/phobos and phanes is too good to be just a coincidence. Might be a form of foreshadowing the perspective of phanes. Perhaps.
I do think a lot about the Remurian empire, it's fall is such a tragedy. Also Hoyo gave me a good idea of how Remus would have named his empire if he didn't die to Romulus.
i too love genshin so much, this quest was such a delight to relive with you, especially with your genuine and mirthful reactions!! i literally smiled along with you during both symphony cutscenes :") i love how much you love this game, in a fandom filled with players who keep nitpicking everything or fail to recognise what makes it incredible (honestly no.1 is the WORLD of teyvat which encompasses the scenery, music, quests, etc.), it makes me happy to watch a content creator sincerely appreciate and pay attention to all the details and hard work the devs put into the game! thank you so much for what you do💙
goated quest goated strimmer. it's also awesome that when i do these quests myself, i might miss some details, and only after watching your playthrough, i found that out and even realize or notice some more stuff lining up in my theories or even learn new stuff by listening to your theories as you go. W strimmer all around
I remember listening to the OST of Domus Aurea and Glory and Decay without doing the quest first. I was so taken aback by the pure emotion from the music that I cried by just listening to it. 😭 Had to do the quest immediately after that!! Peak.
This quest is so peak!!! I cried twice doing this quest. This is the first time I cried by just the ost, the music was so beautiful. Hearing again... I'm bawling my eyes!! 😢😢😢 When Scylla did the jump at the end, you can see Aether join too😂❤
same. this quest really feels like that one piece of my gaming history i will remember when I'm old. playing the last symphony will forever be engraved in my brain
This!! For me this is the GREATEST Fontaine world quest ever created! The combination of lore and the music is just so good! The ost titled Whisper of Domus Aurea nearly made me cry when I listened to it. 100/10!! #ForThePeopleOfRemuria!!
One of the biggest things I took from this quest was that humans are too nuanced and complex to be understood by something that isn't human, and doesn't have that perception. And on that note, Sybilla seems to have led Remus to his end, much like Nabu Malikata led Deshret to his own end... interesting.
@@monascatalyst3567 The two situations were quite different, though. Sybilla had lost her persona, and so she gave her power to Remus so that he could use it to help humanity. Remus then used it to create Phobos. Sybilla didn’t really have much agency in how her power was used. On the other hand, Deshret had to convince Nabu Malikata to assist him in rebelling against Celestia via acquiring Forbidden Knowledge. She didn’t really agree with his methods, and eventually she had to sacrifice herself to try to fix the problems that came from it. In short, in both situations, we have humans misusing the power and wisdom of the angels.
@TheCheeseman1983 She may not have had much say, but she too, knew there was no denying fate. She knew the outcome of her sacrifice would lead to exactly the thing she predicted, according to artifact descriptions. Much in the same way Nabu Malikata knew that Deshret was going to fail, but decided to carry on telling him regardless, even so far as to hint at her death being intentionally bitter, so that her memory would never truly die.
The requiem is still my favorite. I remember I cried during that scene because it was just so beautiful. I guess I need to thank all the, whalers out there lmao. Thank you for funding hoyo 🤣
When u think u r the best fixer there is but your opponent is Traveler 😂😂😂 Nah Thoma sorry but we are THE Fixer Also I cried during the ending of this quest yo the .6 quests ARE CRAZY GOOD i have high hopes for 5.6 and 6.6 😭😭😭
Im sorry but for me is - Remuria: aww sweet - Penacony: Hello Human Resources? moment. But to each their own everyone will enjoy what they will enjoy simple as that
🤔 They should add few voices lines to world quests characters so we can have a idea how they sounds while talking to us Anyway meantime. 🤩 have you watch 5.3 announcement ?
Peak cinema this quest. a shame many not really care about it because it is unvoiced and has too much dialog. I really want Neuvillette and Scylla to meet. please hoyo.
So Remus just "freed" Remurians from Irminsul to be chained within small leyline called Phobos then break free from that small to be free from any fate chain? Even so that still moves in someone's script, who's script is that? Remuses? Paradoxes of fate and destiny
Quests like these are why Genshin will NEVER DIE
The devs are dedicated to their work with their full hearts
"Glory and Decay", "Whispers of Domus Aurea" are some of the best songs in this game for me. The songs itself descibes what happened to Remuria.
those were my favorite track on genshin now been listening to it for months
remurias ost is just goated
They let the music do the storytelling. Very fitting for Remuria tbh
“You love humanity, this the curse you bear as a usurper”
this was the hardest and most meaningful line that Scylla said to Remus.. this line will be forever live in my mind rent free.
5:10 “human can never become gods”
Natlan’s archons would have a word with you
except natlan archons ARE all humans so he's not wrong
What Venti says about Allogenes makes this pretty interesting.
@@Shane_A_M In Japanese dub Allogence = Genshin which in Chinese means “Original god” so…🤔
There’s something shady about it tho. The humans become gods I still think there’s more to it
Humans in Natlan don't become gods either
"Glory and Decay changed me as a person"
The very first world quest that made me and still makes me bawl JUST based on the music bro, I can't with this angelic ass music every. single. time. The OST made me teary-eyed
I really hope we see Scylla again in an event, kind of like Sorush during Nahida’s birthday event. It would be a bonus if he is voiced too.
Remuria truly living up to its title as the nation of music. Magical stuff
33:22 this is my favorite fontaine music, the singing always brings tears to my eyes, I love it
They need more music region and cutscenes like this, it’s so magical
I swear the music in this region are the best. It gives me a lot of chills and intense feeling of nostalgia
The intro is fire!! 🔥
37:13
o7 Ochkan I mean Cassiodor
How often do you think about the roman empire.......
What if Romulus died instead of Remus?
I do think a lot about the Remurian empire, it's fall is such a tragedy.
Also Hoyo gave me a good idea of how Remus would have named his empire if he didn't die to Romulus.

This used to be my favorite world quest before the Natlan world questline! It's still my second favorite!
The music, the characters, the locations, the lore and the twists...
Remuria is ABSOLUTE CINEMA
I remember listening to the OST of Domus Aurea and Glory and Decay without doing the quest first. I was so taken aback by the pure emotion from the music that I cried by just listening to it. 😭 Had to do the quest immediately after that!! Peak.
This will always be one of the best (if not the best so far) in an interactive cut scene. Oh Remuria. The beauty and glory that you once had 😭❤️
34:10 couldn't agree more.
This was one of the greatest quests ever !
so glad I subbed to both channels so i get to watch peak right as its uploaded. W lore-master as always
loved the music in this area so much!! i remember stopping several times just to listen to whatever track was playing
This quest is so peak!!! I cried twice doing this quest. This is the first time I cried by just the ost, the music was so beautiful. Hearing again... I'm bawling my eyes!! 😢😢😢

Absolute orchestra 🙌
That was a goated interactive cutscene, idk what to call it that. Pure Cinema.
This was -> Ascended (Flying in the house everytime when listening to that banger music)
Man, it's been a while since I did this and I didn't remember just how good this world quest was
I still have the music of Remuria playing in my Teapot :")
Remuria my beloved
Best world quest so far
PEAAAAKKKKKKKK 🙌🏻
sheesh! ive been waiting for this!
I watched this stream live and legit tearing up again
I love this game and this friday 5.3 reveal baby yay best part it comes out on my day offs so that patch can take me time hehe

Hoyo is really making you wait for that Charlotte rerun 😂
We are so close to Natlan
The requiem is still my favorite. I remember I cried during that scene because it was just so beautiful.
I guess I need to thank all the, whalers out there lmao. Thank you for funding hoyo 🤣
I still havent move on from this zone and WQ! 😢
Mare Jivari WQ better be good.
Hoyo is a music company that just makes games as a side hustle. 🤣❤
4.x Glazing Boethius = ❌ 1st strike
5.x Glazing Ubh-kan = ❌❌ 2nd strike
6.x Glazing ??
