Now to break all your hearts.. Someone said they saw that book in the speakers chamber in 5.0 archon quest which means mavuika might have sacrificed it to the sacred flame for saving the traveler and the others
never hated Abyss this much now. Losing the very thing that reminds you of your sister. I couldn’t imagine the pain she has post Act 2 if this is the case.
I interpreted it as Hine lived a normal life where she got married and had children and this little girl is a great grandchild of hers. Mavuika got just the proof that her sister got to live a long fulfilling life.
Didn't the little girl say the book was given to her family from someone who helped them a long time ago? Doesn't really sound like there is any relation.
It's right under the wooden bridge that leads to Scions of the Canopy. There is no house, but the graffiti is identical to what we see in the end of this teaser.
4:24 I thought for a while that Faurobert might represent Capitano, but I don't think it works as much now. Faurobert was someone who lacked confidence in his abilities, which is the opposite of Capitano. Also, Capitano's whole thing was that he had a different plan to Mavuika, even fighting her over it - again, different to Faurobert. To me, the closest parallel to Faurobert accompanying Cimest into the Cave would be the Traveler accompanying Mavuika into the Night Kingdom. Although even here it doesn't fully fit because the Traveler also doesn't lack confidence. It's possible though that Faurobert represents multiple things through the story. So the first quest, where you help him win the competition, would represent Kachina in Act 1. His journey with Cimest would represent the Traveler, as above. And his desire to "save the Princess" (who doesn't need "saving") could even represent Capitano (since Mavuika's plan worked instead). But stuff in Simulanka can also parallel multiple parts of Teyvat's history simultaneously. Because when I hear "save the Princess", it's hard not to think of a certain Abyss Princess (/Prince, but a parallel doesn't have to keep gender consistent) who may/may not need/have needed saving. And when I hear about people going underground to try to examine their fate, I'm reminded of the Tiara artifact lore, where priest after priest did the same thing leaving behind a mountain of crowns. So it's also possible this story isn't about Natlan, or at least not only Natlan.
Teasers back to back giving me the feels so much, this one especially made me tear up. Simulanka really popping off big time with this one too. I swear the Genshin team doing such a fantastic job with everything in Natlan especially Mavuika
I share the same sentiment with mavuika when she said "Let's leave right now and go save the sun, because it'll flame out in a few million years" it actually sounds ridiculous. It went above my head when she said it in act 2, but I'm happy that they are now actually showing how big of a decision that was. I love you Mavuika.
Aw man. Imagine everyone you once knew is not there anymore. We can only imagine going through hundreds of years outliving and experiencing the passage of time. You'd have to have a solid resolve before deciding yourself that you would go through with that as a human. Especially since we view the passage of time differently compared to long lived species. Massive respect to Mavuika
So, a lot of criticisms I've seen stem from comparing Natlan's Archon quest to Fontaine's, but maybe it's because I'm a writer, but I see it as a perfect follow-up. Think about it: Furina was (technically) a human living every day pretending to be a god for five hundred years to the point that it almost broke her (almost, Hydro Dragon bless her pure heart), but Natlan is the story of a Human with a god's power, displaced out of her own time, with everything she knew yesterday having suddenly happened 500 years ago. It's a beautiful parallel, and also a good take on the other side of the coin. One lived through every loss, one suddenly lost everything, both for a cause greater than them. I'm expecting the end if this Archon Quest to be incredible.
I really liked that she stopped herself from giving head pat, remembering she is not just a normal person but a strong leader. Also just to add, Citlali should be more like Serie from Frieren than Frieren.
Depression Impact on holidays, damn it Hoyo 😅 And Simulanka along with the Kaveh "Odd Textual Mystery" still keeps on giving. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas!

Wow I just noticed watching this again that past Mavuika doesn’t have the sun pattern in her eyes likely to show that she’s not the Archon yet. However that wouldn’t make sense given that she’s telling Hine about her 500 plan so she has to be the current Archon at that point in time.

I like her story how much she suffered over the years but being the soldier she is and her love for her people and lands made her give up her own blood to win this war once and for all. I do not belive alot of people could ever do this.
Now that I think about it, wasn't Mavuika going 500 years into the future through the Sacred Flame supposed to be a secret? Did Hine tell that family 'oh btw my sister will return in a few centuries so keep passing this book as an heirloom until a new archon with her name appears'?
I think Mavuika would wanna die after everything is done I mean everyone she knew and cared for died she is just like an ancient relic at this point...Her only goal is to save Natlan and her people but after everything is done what then she would have no one to talk to and share her feelings, the Traveler has to move on as well.....that's why u need a family...😭😭 I know this is not going to happen because gacha game and all and many kids that play this game try to self insert themselves as the MC but a perfect ending for me would be where Mavuika and Captain become really close after all is taken care of and just live a happy life together that would make both of them happy but I have a feeling one of them is going to die and my bet is on Captain😭😭
You know what I realized only now? That Mavuika MAY have lied about Hine's future. BEWARE this is based on my memory and I may be wrong lmao: Back in the AQ (Act 2), when we visit Mavuika's office, we see all the belonging she gathered, and she tells us about the family picture: she briefly mentions that her sister became an architect and that she helped designing quite some buildings across Natlan. And it is true that during this teaser, we can see the book is about architecture. However, after Mavuika's rebirth and her request to search about her sister's legacy, Citlali says that she found NOTHING about Hine. If Hine truly had become an architect and helped designing buildings in Natlan, don't you think that there would have been traces of her legacy of her name either in the Canopy, or the Stadium? So my guess is: Hine never became an architect. Possibly never became a warrior, she lived a normal life, not seeking fame either from her heritage (Archon's family), or by making impressive buildings. Mavuika saying that Hine became an architect and helped build structures across the nation was a made up lie, a way for her to give her little sister a "legacy". She was wrong though, because in the end, it's one of Hine's long descendants who gave the book. Hine successed: she found a way to see her sister again, she managed to build a legacy made of *family*. And in the end, it's 99% sure the book must have been discarded just like all Mavuika's belongings to fuel a scared fire strong enough to punch a hole through the Night Kingdom. 🫠
very interesting observation, but yeah I did find it strange how citlali mentions no records of hine even though she supposedly was an architect that designed some of the buildings in natlan
Mavuika also said that none of her buildings/architecture designs lived long. The buildings was from 500 years ago and was bound to change, sad she couldn't see her sisters creations.
can sumone explain to me the whole idea of the 'all pyro archon has been a human' thing? because, how come we only knew about xbalanque and mavuika being the pyro archon. like... where's the rest of 'em?? unless xbalanque obtain immortality once he become the pyro archon, that would explain how he lived so long... (during the era of ronova and him creating 'rules' in natlan with the whole night kingdom and everythin) and who's in charge of natlan within those 500y when mavuika "going to the future"?? am i the only one confused by this plot hole?
We don't know about the rest of them because they were never talked about by anyone we've spoken to. Doesn't mean they weren't there. And Mavuika was basically _not_ the Pyro archon while she was traveling into the future, she had to recompete for the position.
(warning for possible spoilers for arnold) xbalanque's "return to the flame" was what kickstarted the rise of ochkanatlan, which was ended later by the scarlet-eyed youth, the upcoming second pyro archon there's also a mention of another pyro archon in the lore behind mualani's signature weapon so far there's still no info that explains if there's another archon filling the position after mavuika's departure 500 years ago, but based on ochkanatlan history, it's possible for natlan to have a period of time where no one ascends to take the archon position
i think her sister reincarnated? idk how leyline work, but how she like the same things as her sister and then how she look just bit different hair and eyes
My mind suddenly shorted out thinking, but why did Mauvika chose NOW to reincarnate, and how did she even (like who gave birth to her now or is she just pure flame made). But the big question is why exactly 500 years, that too coinciding with the Traveler, I mean gameplay yes, but what's the reason in game. I can see all the other nations being a coincidence but that's one too many. Anyway Happy holidays MoB, loos like Hoyoverse' feeding us good this season.
Dude... Have you ever played Natlan Archon Quest? All your questions have already been answered in the game. Firstly, Mavuika did NOT reincarnate, she placed her body and soul in Primal Fire to exist in it for 500 years, and returned when the time come. No one has reborn her, and she has the human body she had 500 years ago. Secondly, 500 years ago, Natlan was almost completely destroyed by the Abyss, they were able to repeal the Abyss, but they did not win, the Abyss lost a lot of strength and they had to build up 500 years their forces to attack again, Mavuika and the Heroes were able to calculate that they would need exactly that many years to do it thanks to the Night Kingdom. At the same time, Mavuika, Wayobs and the heroes created a plan in which Mavuika will travel 500 years and help the new heroes in Natlan, Natlan that like the Abyss, have been building up forces and rebuilding the region for 500 years thanks to new Pyro Archons, people and Wayobs. It's like the Abyss was defeated and set a deadline of 500 years for Natlan to prepare their forces. Why 500 years? Because the Traveler is one of the Descenders, they are the MOST important figures around whom the world and fate literally revolve.
@@iosis9324would they have foreseen the Traveler’s arrival though? The Traveler as a Descender is a bit of an anomaly to Teyvat where they werent recorded by the Ley Lines and Irminsul which I assume the Wayobs use to see into the future to help with the plan.
@@ailienkiller6069 IDK, maybe the Abyss predicted this and for some reason, they were waiting for him to appear. The reason why Mavuika went for 500 years and her whole plan, was that they calculated that the Abyss needed 500 years of preparation to fight again. Wayobs have nothing to do with Irminsul and Ley lines, in Natlan it's all destroyed, and predictions are not related to Irminsul anyway, according to Barbeloth, you can predict in all worlds, but in Teyvat, thanks to the super powerful barrier, it's easier to predict because you don't have to do calculations with a huge number of different cosmic energies.
Why did you have to do this Hoyo. First we have Citlali outlived all of her loved ones. And now have Mavuika who never got to live her life with her love ones.
i didnt see any similarities with those frogs with Natlan, i think that area is under the scions bridge, in any case i love Mavuika as a character and hoping to get her.

Now that I think about it, wasn't Mavuika going 500 years into the future through the Sacred Flame supposed to be a secret? Did Hine tell that family 'oh btw my sister will return in a few centuries so keep passing this book as an heirloom until a new archon with her name appears'?
I wonder why mavuika looks younger in teaser cause she plan right then
now I'm confused about who will die, all of teaser, animated short and latest AQ ALL RED FLAG lmaooo
If this kid has access to this book, night she bea descendant of Hine and thus a super-great niece of mavuika?
I think Mavuika would wanna die after everything is done I mean everyone she knew and cared for died she is just like an ancient relic at this point...Her only goal is to save Natlan and her people but after everything is done what then she would have no one to talk to and share her feelings, the Traveler has to move on as well.....that's why u need a family...😭😭
I know this is not going to happen because gacha game and all and many kids that play this game try to self insert themselves as the MC but a perfect ending for me would be where Mavuika and Captain become really close after all is taken care of and just live a happy life together that would make both of them happy but I have a feeling one of them is going to die and my bet is on Captain😭😭
So do the drawings in the book mean that hine designed current scions settlement ?
She designed the old settlement, so none of her buildings have survived.
You know what I realized only now? That Mavuika MAY have lied about Hine's future. BEWARE this is based on my memory and I may be wrong lmao:
Back in the AQ (Act 2), when we visit Mavuika's office, we see all the belonging she gathered, and she tells us about the family picture: she briefly mentions that her sister became an architect and that she helped designing quite some buildings across Natlan.
(during the era of ronova and him creating 'rules' in natlan with the whole night kingdom and everythin)
and who's in charge of natlan within those 500y when mavuika "going to the future"??
am i the only one confused by this plot hole?
We don't know about the rest of them because they were never talked about by anyone we've spoken to. Doesn't mean they weren't there. And Mavuika was basically _not_ the Pyro archon while she was traveling into the future, she had to recompete for the position.
(warning for possible spoilers for arnold)
xbalanque's "return to the flame" was what kickstarted the rise of ochkanatlan, which was ended later by the scarlet-eyed youth, the upcoming second pyro archon
there's also a mention of another pyro archon in the lore behind mualani's signature weapon
so far there's still no info that explains if there's another archon filling the position after mavuika's departure 500 years ago, but based on ochkanatlan history, it's possible for natlan to have a period of time where no one ascends to take the archon position
i think her sister reincarnated? idk how leyline work, but how she like the same things as her sister and then how she look just bit different hair and eyes
🐸
first time being early damn
✨✨
😢😢😢😢
i didnt see any similarities with those frogs with Natlan, i think that area is under the scions bridge, in any case i love Mavuika as a character and hoping to get her.
First lol
BROOOOO enough with the yapping and just watch the damn thing!! FFS
This is Arnold. We live for our youtuber yapping his heart out. (Plus I like when someone both watches but also give their own thoughts on videos)
@@The.Viewer yeah, like most of us here to watch Arnold reaction.. not the teaser 😭
You must be new around here lol.
Back to back emotional hits for the holidays….thanks hoyo 🥲
Ok but no actually this explosion of trailers is the one good thing about both being phase 1(both still have the demo and miscellany dang) 😂
