Is it okay to provide same shear reinforcement for cantilever beam also?...shear reinforcement for cantilever beam from etabs is higher than the internal simply supported beam..can you explain what should i do??

In NBC code, it is said shear reinforcement must be designed from linear structural analysis and from plastic hinge condition, so sir please upload a video regarding left sway and right sway shear force and moment and from those value how we designed shear reinforcement..

Make etab pageup set up as per nbc 105 2020 using user coefficient for dynamic analysis along with load as per nbc105 2020...I think there are 18 load combination ...please do make a video on it ....
Also stiffness modifiers as per nbc
I am eagerly waiting to make video on it but as it not implemented in real practise yet so it won’t be that effective. Once it is implemented and one of my project gets approved I will upload it.
Here in my municipality tilotamma butwal...structural engineer has asked to do as per nbc 2020 from baisakh ....so I was hoping if u can help ....I actually had made it but reinforcement provided is high as copmpared to indian standard ...I may have done something wrong ...will u check my file set up whether it is right or wrong as per nbc ...I kinda made it but reinforcement is just too high
You can mail me i will check. Reinforcement may come more as PGA considered is greater than IS code.

How do you provide 4 legged stirrups in a beam having only 4 bars? The stirrups size should be increased to 10mm dia bars instead in that situation.
4 bars at top and 4 at bottom. So we can essily provided 4 legged. and I have also said we can increase stirrups size as well.

2.Why don't you use shear plus torsion rienforcement instead shear rienforcement?
Mistake word torsion not tension
Recent seismic detailing code doesn't allow considering shear strength due to concrete and tension reinforcement, so we design for shear considering shear reinforcement only.
