I’ve been drinking Yerba tea for over 10 years and each time I drink it I feel uplifted, calm, clear headed, confidence and have mental clarity. I LOVE this tea. Please be aware that it’s an acquired taste if it’s your first time, so I suggest adding a teaspoon of honey to combat the bitter taste. ☕

Yes we love it too, and complete agree that it is often an acquired taste!

Do you feel any tolerance from long term usage? Or do you manage it stopping for some days and getting back?

@@Marcelestevescorradi yes. I've noticed if I take a few days off from drinking it and then start again, it's much stronger than drinking everyday

@@Sosimplefuns I recommend a Yerba Mate that says “ Product of Argentina “, original source. That’s the real thing. Many are jumping in the bandwagon offering anything but. I always look for that .

As a Brazilian I've been drinking yerba mate every day almost since I was born. In Brazil, depending on the preparation method, it can be called Chimarrão or Tereré.

been drinking matē for 3 years now been coffee free, I used to love really good coffee, but would get too jittery with it, matē on the other hand I can guzzle this stuff and never get those jittery feelings, its best before any exercising ,

Love that. Same here!! What got you into mate in the first place? For me, and friend shared hers, and eventually I got hooked.

@@OswaldDigestiveClinicthats pretty cool! a friend from Argentina introduced me to it, I quit drinking coffee around that same time , i was having this anxiety/jittery feeling from too much caffeine from coffee ,so I switched to mate and its probably been about 2-3 years now solid with no coffee,(never get those jittery feelings even i drink a lot of it) .....I actually didn't look into health benefits of it until recently and was blown away by it, I make it in a old school percolator, (I buy these when in good shape from thrift stores)

I just heard about it on an Hispanic game show, lol. Then I looked it up and now have a few Yerba Mate items saved on Amazon, lol. I decided to watch at least a couple of videos before I hit that “place order” button. I wonder if it’ll help not only with my ADD, but ASD in some way as well(?).
AND I have GERD as well. I’ll see if it’ll help that.👍🏼

    • @OswaldDigestiveClinic

Due to the laxative effect it may have on some individuals, it should reduce bloating. However, if you have ingested too much, the bowel may become irritated and bloating may happen.

love this stuff. been drinkin it for like 4 years now. figured i'd look up what the science says about it. For me, it's way better than coffee, I get a nice consistent energy & concentration feel from it. different than the straight up & down boost & jitters u get from coffee. Also, helps me stay slim & no prob sleeping at night. Also, i rarely get sick these days, not sure if that's the mate or some other supplements & food i consume or don't consume. anyway, good vid & thanks

    • @OswaldDigestiveClinic

It certainly has the qualities of loose leaf tea, however with less of an effect, as well the taste is much more subdued. Most people prefer the loose leaf over tea bags.
